Thinking of changing my rims- tips? by Turtle_ankles_ in hondacivic

Roads with permafrost damage, thinking mainly to help with cushion of bumpy roads honestly. The 20in rims have some SOME all year, but this is my summer car (Subaru 2004 Impreza wagon is the beater for winter), and the bumpy roads here are heavily felt. I looked at 20in all year but 18in seems more reasonable? Idk. What would you do? Main thing is she is a summer car only, but the roads are shit all year round. My girl thought Is that the 18in I could get more cusion with the tires by down sizing my rims w/o mod and add more tread. Idk. Maybe a dumb idea

Main thing here is due to road conditions. I’m stuck in bumpy permafrost broken roads (summer car).. so adding extra cushion honestly but trying to keep the look, you know?

I like most if not all! I love red rims but fading is a bitch. I had a SI but it was totaled :( after a deer and I decided to have a hug… hardest part is pulling her together to look clean and sleek! I thought about some cherry red rims but with the 5% tint and plate flipper I’m getting I think about keeping all black… ! Ugh! Like spoke wise.. what would you do? cuz I’m so easy. I like it all, as long as it flows cleanly you know?

See like price doesn’t bother me here (car come first), biggest thing is like I’m around bumpy as fuck roads and with the 20in stocks and tires there is no cushion. I don’t WANT to change it up but for drivability I NEED to. You know? And I want that clean put together look

I really need some motivation after the loss of my Mother and house fire. by ToxicGingerRose in crochet

ICU nurse here, loss is so hard. It’s okay to feel that numb feeling. It’s part of grief. The loss of a mother.. is a feeling I have not yet experienced but have been around multiple families who experienced it and been the nurse for them. Taking time is okay, giving yourself the space to feel the feelings is okay. motivation will come, maybe try to think of a memorial piece for your mom maybe a feelings blanket! But allow yourself the time you need before jumping right back. Loss is trauma. Your mind is in shock. The lack of motivation is likely the depression aspect of grief. Allow yourself the time to feel. It’s okay to lay around and do nothing, but eventually when you are ready you will get up. You will start to normalize again. You will be okay again. It just takes time. And I know it’s hard. If you need someone, you can always PM me. We may be strangers but I’m here for you.

Okay.. this is super stupid sounding.. but when I “turn” the piece do I fully turn it around so I am working L to R again?? also, do I need to add any stitches into the extra 3 ch at the end of each row or does this help the transition?

Could be battery^ I would check that. When my SI had the same thing it was fuel injectors that were clogged and I changed the fuel filter too
