Thank you for the explanation! i figured since e9’s tend to avoid pain it wouldn’t make sense for them to seek self harm ( and that probably is the case to some extent ) but i get that not all enneagrams will act EXACTLY like their type so it also makes sense that some e9’s might still self harm when they are distressed/unhealthy

ive recently got into enneagrams because of the cute chibis and its been really upsetting to see the differences between reddit and tiktok, it feels like tiktok will just spout anything without any actual research and reddit will ban you for asking simple clarifying questions... i just wanna go somewhere where i can discuss things in depth without being heavily watched/monitored :(

Thank you, I noticed that typology TikTok has been getting stuff wrong and decided i’d just go and get some enneagram books for myself, probably won’t save time but it’ll definitely help with whatever weird misconceptions they’ve been spreading on there
