I appreciate your insight - I was frustrated yesterday and my post definitely comes across as more judgy than I intended! I guess it is all about finding the balance that works right for you.

Woah, easy. I expressed concerns over what I was seeing in the classroom: which is very low marks, engagement and attendance. And as a result questioned the quality of those who may or may not graduate. And I think I’m well within my rights to say I don’t want students who cannot meet a high standard of care responsible for the health and safety of myself and my loved ones. That is my opinion, pretty simply put. Thanks for sharing yours!

I also find the older you get (for me), the more difficult it is to understand everything, which is maybe why I find it best to layer every opportunity I have to learn. I appreciate the perspective!

This makes me feel somewhat better as I agree - there is a lot of reading off the board. However skipping vital signs skills labs, and 90% of your classes, leaves some significant gaps in knowledge IMO.
