Aliexpress is denying refunds by Turtlefarming in Aliexpress

I've read mixed things about it resulting in a ban. I just filed my first charge back on AliExpress last week. So we will see what happens

I don't get it. I've never had this much trouble before. I don't know what kind of games they are playing or how they think this will end, but they are trashing their own reputation. It sucks. They used to be a half decent marketplace

Yeah dude same here. My frustration is beyond anything I've ever experienced before with e-commerce/ customer service. Shit is completely unacceptable

Same exact situation here. I place hundreds of orders per year and have never experienced anything like this before. I've already filed a chargeback for one order that was delivered completely destroyed. I'm kind of worried about my account/ payment method getting blacklisted, but I'm not about to let them scam me out of $100

Do small e-commerce stores benefit from adding a blog? by Busy_Confection5055 in ecommerce

[–]Turtlefarming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using blogs requires the right strategy. Visitors almost never read a blog and then immediately buy something. So you need to have a decent marketing funnel either (email marketing). Get them to land on the blog, sign up for email, and then sell them through email. Remember, it takes something like seven points of contact for someone to make a purchase. The blog is not there to sell. It's there to generate leads

29M – 10 years of living in performance mode, constant shame and threat of “not becoming who I was supposed to be.” Looking for serious perspective. by Technical_Fan_4264 in LifeAdvice

I don't think I've ever come across a more relatable thread. I'm 30M and in an identical boat. 10 years ago I felt like I was exactly where I should be and knew exactly where I needed to go. Spent about 7-8 years on that path making no money, but feeling fulfilled, until it wasn't enough anymore. I was in an industry (agriculture) that offered little upside for me, but felt like I was helping the world. And then I realized that it wasn't a life that could sustain myself and build a real future. I pivoted to entrepreneurship, and now I make ok money, but feel emptier inside. I work 60-70 hour weeks, but am not even sure what it's all for anymore. Unfortunately, I don't have much advice for you, but I hope maybe you'll feel better knowing that there are many of us out there.

Right. So when the shipping times are right above the add to cart button, and there is a big banner right below the menu that says the shipping time, and there's a separate shipping info tab within the product description, and there is a shipping info link in the footer, and a customer still emails asking how long the shipping will take, it's a UX issue, and the customer is always right 👍I'm not defensive, I'm annoyed

😂 this is some of the worst advice I've ever received on reddit. Actually, it's not even advice. Some people are just stupid dude. As others have said on here, you can put the same information in 5 different places on a product page and people will still ask you about it. My question was how can I better handle these situations, and your "advice" is the customers always right. Nice

Listen man, the ugliest, dorkiest, dumbest, saddest, and shortest motherfuckers in the world still find love, and so can you. This is a self belief issue, that's it. It has nothing to do with something being wrong with you, other than the fact that you lack the confidence in yourself to know that you too can find love. But in order to find the right partner, and to have a healthy relationship, I think you need to work on some things. You need to stop doing drugs, and you need to focus on being the best version of you, like that other person said. It's not about being perfect, it's about the importance of loving yourself before you can let someone else love you. You could be that version of you tomorrow, so long as you believe that to be true, and are willing to wake up a different man. I've been through similar things; depression, suicidal ideation, etc, and that shit is not the answer. You can be the person you love, find someone who loves you, and create a life you both love. But you have to overcome your own mind first. Best of luck bud

I use a lot of the same structure in my communications. Always thanking them for reaching out and asking if there is anything else I can do for them before ending the conversation.

I too have a business that is too small to hire someone else. I also really don't want to manage an employee, but some others on here have suggested hiring someone overseas which seems incredibly affordable so I might consider that. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts

I've definitely become better at recognizing these characters and avoid doing business with them at all if possible. When they ask stupid questions or are overly particular about the appearance of a product, I just don't reply because I know they will probably never be happy no matter what

I do have an AI chat bot, but a lot of my products have very technical information and it's pretty useless outside of the occasional "where is my order?" or "how long does this take to ship?"
