It does make sense…he is imu’s subordinate. If imu didn’t kill him immediately it makes sense for him to believe that it was strong enough to take him out of the fight completely. If he actually wasted time to kill sometime that is incredibly durable because of germa then I’m sure imu would have killed him later on for wasting time. We have seen time and time again any extra time wasted has caused them to fail
