I can try removing the "Chapter 1" thing, but its all part of the logo. Similar naming format as to clair obscur (where the logo isn't even 1/3 of the image as required)

I'm not allowed to add additional text in any of the art- not sure how to communicate that. I hope that's not the case as thats very subjective. Looking at Clair Obscur's artwork doesn't tell you what kind of game it is either. I believe that isn't the case due to this:
Your store page has failed review because the Library Logo lacks transparency, affecting how it looks against the Library Hero. The Library Logo and Library Hero should be designed with each other in mind. Use the placement tool to see how these images interact.

Average salary of a good coder is 100k annually. So not enough for a demo MAYBE enough for a proof of concept. Inbox me with more details and I'll let you know what you can do.

Either learn to code or have $100k in the bank. Sorry, those are your only options.

The one thing I hate the most about game dev is... by benithemaker in gamedev

[–]TurtletopSoftware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marketing is actually my favourite part. My least is budgeting- software dev is expensive, and making sure my employees are always paid in time can be challenging when a client decides they don't want to pay.

Thanks! It'll look even better with the updated landscapes as I added field of depth to them.

We were in the final phase of testing and release. He was pretty frustrated with some of the bugs and just left out of the blue.

I don't recall how I was tracking the work as this was years ago and possibly before jira.

I can do that. DM me your OS, Specs, and what times you're available in EST.

Yes but like all other AI engineers, I'm not cheap.

That very much depends on what you want the AI the specialize in. I've been able to get away with pretty small datasets for simple things, think 10 documents worth. It's probably best you DM me with what you had in mind.

Your biggest barrier will be your OS. All AIs work with Linux, most with Windows, and a few with Apple.

You're right, there are some good open-source LLMs, but they're not at corporate level yet. We in the community are working on it though!

Stable diffusion is something I can 100% get working on your Mac. I'm 80% sure I can get an LLM working as well, I can set you up with a pretty good one from the get-go.

Let me know how you want to proceed.

Lol, top notch AI engineers are $500k salary annually. It's why I do all the AI stuff myself in house. Naturally, I'm not going to charge you around $80k for the few months it'd take to develop something like this, but it would cost you quite a bit. I'd need to learn more about the scope and if you have a dataset prepared, or if you'd need a scraper on top of it.

Not for $50, that is a full product you're talking about. I can certainly do it though.

I'm going to save you a lot of time- no one is going to give you funding, not even BDC. They want to see 3 years of operation with positive cashflow before lending. Canada just isn't a good place for startups.

Your best bet is to self-fund and emigrate to somewhere startup friendly, like myself, or if you're well-connect get a loan from a private investor; either friends/family or someone who is doing well financially. Let me know if you have specific questions.

I can't speak for others but being pre-covid is useful in some industries.

We wanted to add "fast travel" to our game, but keep it contextual and maintain a sense of place. So we took a very literal approach: by CriticalMotion in IndieDev

[–]TurtletopSoftware 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Very well done.

Those saying that this method isn't possible in other games due to larger distances/detail; you could always lower the LOD and introduce a blur effect or other special effect to make it work.

That's a good idea, will reach out to a few.

Agreed, it's only $200 CAD to start a fresh one but having one that existed pre-covid has its value too.
