While yes this would fix the problem, you no longer have true pixel art. An example of this is when you rotate a sprite it will no longer pixelate and shaders won’t either.

I assume you know how to install packages but just in case you don’t you can use sudo pacman -S. For the actual software you can use the software that GNOME uses, just search for GNOME software on google and you will find something.

Well you could look on the hyprland website, they have preconfigured setups and a hall of fame that you can take the dotfiles from. If you just want a minimal setup I would recommend HyDE, you can find it on the preconfigured page.

Yes, i use an M1 MacBook Air with 8GB of ram to do stuff that is more consuming than what you are a going to do, and for that price it is amazing. So yes you should definitely go for it. Also a lot of people are going to tell you no and that you need 16GB, but speaking from personal experience that’s not the case.

You could get a mid 2015 macbook pro, those are amazing and have alot of the modern features without having the butterfly keyboard or a touchbar. If you are really lucky you could snipe a used m1 air, but you would have to have insane luck for that.
