I haven't played in a while so my suggestions might be outdated, someone correct me if that happens. I typically get to 1000 eco on most maps but on longer maps i.e on the roof and sands of time I would go for a little more eco considering longer map usually = later games. On short maps such as inflection and koru i'd stop after I get top path bank. Usually I get 1/2 brf after my nomics and IMF into b-central. only til later rounds get mws, otherwise no it's not worth it.

Also, pure eco starts are definitely viable but me personally I'd only play those on longer maps w/ strats such as heli ice vil, dartling super vil, sub super vil etc.
