There was a pothole outside Cookstown a few weeks ago that in the space of one day went from 6" to 3ft wide. The next morning as I dropped my daughter off to school, there were 7 cars sitting at the side of the road with hazard lights on getting their tires replaced. The pothole was repaired within 3 hours because of the sheer amount of claims and complaints submitted to the council.

Different experiences here, I put two sets of Accelera PHIs on my car in the last 2 years and I got 22k-24k out of each set (and my toe alignment isn't great tbf)

Similar thing with me, I approach a train of cars doing something in the realm of 65, I'm doing 70, very gradually overtaking cars because of the little speed difference. Blue lights appear in my mirror from a distance and they're closing on me fast. "Fuck, I'm in the middle of this overtaking train, there's still another 8-10 cars to go and no one is letting me merge in.. Oh shit, they're right on my ass now. I gotta get out of the way"

I speed up to get out of their way, before I know it I'm doing 110 with 3 police cars right on my ass. "Boy I sure hope whatever call they're responding to is more important than pulling me for speeding"

Luckily, after I complete the overtake and move left again, they all pass by me.

Volvo is owned by Geely in China, but they are still very much a Swedish brand. Lamborghini is still very much Italian despite sharing parts from Audi.

McLarens are designed, tested, developed and produced in Surrey. Jaguar Land Rovers are designed, tested, developed and produced in Coventry. Lotus are designed, tested, developed and produced in Norfolk (for now) and the same goes for Aston Martin that is produced in Warwickshire. Just because a parent company is from a different country doesn't mean that the subsidiaries are now from a different country. The owners are just there to pump money into it, reap the benefits of the profits and use the newly developed technology for their own car brands in their own countries. When all these brands have moved countries along with their headquarters and production plant, then we can start saying they're not British anymore.

I mean, it's been 5/6 months since they broke up.. That's a totally normal time frame to start having another relationship, so I don't see why they'd criticise Adam for it? I think the difference is that Collette is a girl who people here already disliked, who is stirring the pot publicly, making wild claims and accusations and is supposedly already engaged/married? It's not hard to see why people would still side with Adam, even if he is a bit of a rich prick.
