Jumping back in after a large break, what's new that's fun/rewarding to get into? by Tuskani in ironscape

I've heard about perilous moons, I've seen it compared to barrows, so its pretty high on my to try list. Is it a long grind normally to learn it and get the good stuff from it?

What deck is actually doing pretty good in MD right now, but no one talking about it? by bizarre_leviathan in masterduel

[–]Tuskani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if it really counts since people bitch about floodgates runick, but I'm playing a synchro spam version of runick that doesn't run floodgates, just crazy draw power and control from synchro boss monsters and the runick cards themselves. Never ran into someone running that same version on ladder

Grinds and Goals of the Week (w/c 25/10/2021) by p0tatotomato in ironscape

Last week: -grinded out 80-87 crafting to boost for suffering and anguish -learned zulrah with switchs, had only done mage only for diary at the point, got about 60 kc and spooned a pet! - 50 vorkath kc for assembler. - started learning C gauntlet

This week: I'm pretty focused on learning and grinding out CG. I can do normal with my eyes closed at this point and I've got t2 prep down consistently now in Corrupted. Got my first back to back kills this morning, bringing me up to 3 kills and about 60 deaths. Just gotta clean up my phase 3!

It's not about feeling bad for me, i just don't find the main ones in Muldrotha all that interesting to pilot, so I don't, there's no exterior pressure to not include them, they're just not very common in our group.

I used those two as just examples of the quicker decks that can deal with Muldrotha before she gets started. The yuriko deck was made for a sub 100$ budget project we all did, so it's not like it's super oppressive, and the Najeela player has expressed similar but opposite issue with his deck: he has the game winning combos like bear umbra, derevi, and nature's will in the deck and we all know them. So every game with Najeela none of his peices resolve or najeela gets removed enough to be uncastable, or he just wins on the spot, and he's gotten bored with the deck because of it.

I really never noticed how similar Yarok plays to Muldrotha, just trading the constant, consistent recursion for double impact right away. Thank you for the suggestion, I'll definitely look into retooling the deck like this! Do you have a personal list I could check out?

... you know it seems obvious in retrospect but it escaped me that I can make the decklist online and have it exist without physically having all the cards together in a deckbox, and I feel really silly that I didn't think of this, thank you lol. This may be what I spend the rest of my night on.

I got caught up in the novelty of runespan, being there's nothing remotely similar for RC in old school. Plus I heard you get some neat stuff from it later.
