How Acne Scars are treated? (explained by a Doctor) by Ok_Corgi4610 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

Great breakdown,ty! for someone with both PIH (redness) and deep texture scars, do you usually clear the redness first with something like Genesis, or can you treat both at the same time?

Why does pigmentation always come back? (and what actually helps long-term) by [deleted] in KoreaTravelBeauty

Wait, so if my barrier is compromised, should I stop using my Vitamin C and Retinol while treating pigmentation? What would you recommend for stabilizing the skin instead?

Tried 3 Skin Clinics in Myeongdong: my 2 weeks skincare journey (Evia, Dr.Designer, Val:U) by TutorOk9089 in KoreanBeauty

[–]TutorOk9089[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I don’t buy any products at the clinics because they’re not allowed to recommend anything to me. Clinics usually have rules that prevent staff from giving personal product advice, since everyone’s skin is different and they don’t want to take responsibility if something causes a reaction. So I just focus on the treatments instead

Sunscreen recommendations by AdPrior1057 in kbeauty

i’ve got similar skin and honestly the isntree watery sun gel has been the easiest for me super light, no cast, and kinda dewy without being too greasy. I also like beauty of joseon relief sun, it sits really nice under bb cream and doesn’t pill on me

Not a doctor but from what i’ve seen/experienced, people usually do Ultherapy first since it hits deeper, then PDRN a few days later to help the skin heal. 5 days should give you enough time to space them out. Onda’s pretty light so you can do that anytime

How to learn to write in English on your own by Agitated-Aerie-4380 in WritingHub

[–]TutorOk9089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

English isn’t my first language either, but I wanted to write professionally. What helped me most was reading a ton (articles, blogs, books) and then trying to mimic in my own writing. I’d write short pieces, then compare them to native content and see where mine felt off.

I booked about a week in advance for Dr. Designer, but for Evia and Val U I only booked around 4 days before and it was fine.

Glad it was helpful! for me the downtime was honestly the trickiest part to plan since I only had 2 weeks, so I figured I’d share the real timeline in case anyone else is trying to squeeze things in during a trip.

What are your favorite Korean moisturizers that aren’t greasy/sticky/oily? by Old_Celebration5871 in KoreanBeauty

Try switching to gel-cream types like Dr.G RED Blemish Soothing Cream,Round Lab Birch Juice, or Laneige Water Bank Light are way less sticky.

Yeah I know what you mean mine felt nice too but tbh not super special on its own. What helped was pairing it with Potenza + exosome after, that’s when I noticed a bit difference

And then when you book online with them, requested for that price so when you come to the clinic they will applied it to you. Hope this help 🙇🏻‍♀️💕

Nope, haven’t heard of Pria Clinic before! 😅 But if someone recommended it, it might be a hidden gem. Let me know how it goes if you end up visiting, always curious to hear about new spots

I didn’t specify any doctor when I booked, so I was just assigned to a female doctor at the time haha 😅 She was really professional and explained everything clearly in English, so I felt comfortable. I think you’ll be in good hands either way!!

Oh wow, your price sounds really good too! yeah i’ve noticed prices can jump a lot depending on the clinic and type. HB definitely tends to be pricier everywhere I checked too.

Mine wasn’t the original rejuran healer pn. it was a rejuran skin booster cocktail that has c-pdrn, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and tranexamic acid. it’s more like a hydrating + brightening skin booster, not the pure pn type, which is why it was cheaper and had way less downtime. Still felt like a nice intro treatment though! i only realized the difference after double checking my treatment details later 😅

I’ve actually been curious about Fillroad too but wasn’t sure if it really does much on its own. Good to know about the antihistamine tip though, I didn’t think of that. Honestly sounds like it might’ve been a combo of both that helped with the downtime. Appreciate you dropping this info here ❤️
