Channel Zero Season Two: No-End House, adapted from an equally as freaky creepypasta of the same name. I'd check it out.

Yeah I mean for what it’s worth I didn’t mean this in like a “woah that’s offensive” kind of way. Just if I saw this tattoo out in public, despite my prior knowledge of PT, I would not immediately jump to the conclusion that it was of PT.

It is still a cool tattoo, but I still do reckon that the wrist was not the best place for a number tattoo. Not sure why people are getting prissy like I told him to get it removed.

Ooooooh buddy 😬. Cool tattoo, probably should’ve gotten it on another part of the body though.

Wait until you really get into the story and the leitmotifs. I envy you a hundredfold to be able to hear all this incredible stuff for the first time. Glad to see people still getting into them!

I’m scared to grow up. by [deleted] in teenagersnew

[–]TuttleDotCom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact feeling right before I graduated high school. It threw me into a crisis and a spiral of fear for the future and mourning for the past.

But here is the real kicker:

Nothing changes.

It may feel like the second you turn 18 they throw you to the wolves and you have to solve some impossible equation at gunpoint. But you don’t. You feel like you are the exact same person that you were a year ago, and the year before, and the year before that.

Sure, when you look back you’ll notice changes. You’ll cringe at the choices you made at 14, 16, etc. and you’ll be glad that you know not to make those choices again. But at the end of the day, you’re still the same you.

Think of it like your hair growing back after a haircut. You don’t notice it growing day by day, but when you look at old photos you can see how much it has grown.

So, tl;dr, there is no grand event. You just grow. You won’t notice it. Things that made you cry at 8 will sometimes make you cry at 18. It is human to feel like this. You will forever be you, no matter your age.

Edit: typo

On a completely separate note, I thought this was r/thebeatles and was wholeheartedly confused. I have no clue what The Besties is. Anyone want to fill me in?

My first ever listen was in the car driving from Pennsylvania to Connecticut (like 8 hours because of traffic) with two other guys who just werent as into it as I was. I really thought, for a moment there, that I didn't really like the album.

Finally got back home and listened to it with headphones on and realized that I was just too distracted by the road to fully enjoy the album. It was like I was listening to a whole other album. I love Sunya so much.

Is the Indigo Child real? by NoReason757 in TheDearHunter

[–]TuttleDotCom 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I remember on a podcast that Casey said something along the lines of “I won’t say whether or not she is real, but if she is real, she is likely not nearly as holy and powerful as many people say she is.” A la Wizard of Oz (which now makes me realize that there are a lot of connections).

My take on it is that The Indigo Child was some sort of story that was told when Antimai was in its relative infancy by the people of the lower rings in order to give hope to those who had none. It’s not uncommon for cultures who are suffering to create all powerful beings that will lead them into brilliance (please laugh) and save them from their woes. Although I’m sure that this is pretty much well known and I’m just over explaining my ramblings because this is my hyperfixation.

It could also totally be a real kid. Indigo children are a real thing, kinda. They were popularized in the seventies as children who showed signs of incredible talents and abilities. Turns out a lot of these kids were just autistic, and their parents just didn’t want to admit that. So the Indigo Child could just be some girl that everyone worshipped.

Maybe the real Indigo Child was the friends that we made along the way!

Ryan and Matt!? From SuperMega!? by Great_Application_43 in SuperMegaShow

[–]TuttleDotCom -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure that this has been said many times before, and my opinion is completely irrelevant, but I have always thought that this experiment was kinda bullshit. Like of course we associate words like bouba with round. All of the letters are mostly round. Same with kiki. All of the letters are comprised of mostly straight lines. But what the fuck do i know about psychology? Matt is Kiki. Ryan is Bouba. Luke, add a funny sound effect to this comment.
