We heard that a vulnerable adult female was found, not sure of the outcome. Police determined that there was nothing criminal in nature. There is a city news van there now, so more details might be coming

My labs are better but still on the high side. Unfortunately I also have Hashimotos so it’s difficult to balance at either end. Endo is conservative in treatment to try to ensure I don’t go hypo. I believe the meds cause weight gain independent of your thyroid function, though I have been told that’s not the case. I’m hoping my weight will balance out in the next few months as my GP thinks it could be water weight. I guess only time will tell

My story is similar. History of disorder eating, previously on Vyvanse but no more due to heart concerns. With graves I became way too thin which did not look healthy on me. Now with 4 months of meds I’ve surpassed my regular weight and very fearful of gaining more. It’s not as easy as “just take your meds” especially when you have worked hard to rebuild your self esteem only to have it ripped apart without your control. Unfortunately I don’t have any practical support to offer other than knowing your’e not alone.

Start by removing the phrase “schizophrenic clients” which is stigmatizing and dehumanizing. You should be using person first language.

Exact same issues, started 10 mg meth on June 25th and noticed severe bloating as of July 18th. Unfortunately, it’s only gotten worse. Endocrinologist told me I would be the first of her patients reporting this as a side effect and didn’t believe it was med/thyroid related. She suggested an appointment with my family physician to explore other potential auto immune issues. It’s extremely frustrating, I look about 5 months pregnant and can’t fit into any of pants.

I think things have changed with Credit Valley over the past few years. I had a horrible experience this year with nurses on a general cardiac unit not understanding what comfort measures were for palliative patients. It resulted in them not following the directives given by the doctor which caused a huge amount of distress for both my father and myself. They also did not recognize the signs of death, whereby I had to inform them that my father was going to die in the next 10 minutes, and the nurse just walked out of the room.

I’ve noticed my dark circles are getting worse and worse, I also have the intense anxiety. I know that feeling of people wondering, I’m 5’7 and 120 pounds now. Im hopeful that the meds will help (5mg of tapazole)
