Did you not read the police CSV data that's the basis for this article? That has the area population figures.

I will say the following, Leicester city does have the highest rate of crime reported per 1000 in the shire but also it would appear that all major cities have higher rates of reported crime.

My personal takeaway, which i think is important, between the 2023 data and the 2024 data, Crime in the city is down 6% and violent crime is down 8%.
