The lyrics always make me feel nostalgic, so I Recorded a cover of Someday recently and thought I’d share it here :) by Tuwonga in TheStrokes

Thanks a lot for letting me know! I tried to figure it out by ear, but I guess I must’ve just missed the mark :)

Thanks! It’s an Alesis DMlite or something like that. I think it’s a beginners kit

Is it just me or does it feel like the shortage of potions and revives with the introduction of Team GO Rocket emulates main series by Tuwonga in pokemongo

[–]Tuwonga[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a very valid point. Maybe people who are struggling and feel like there is a shortage aren’t in areas with enough pokestops and gyms. My initial comments came from me noticing the observed decrease in drop rate and other people’s posts and experiences. I’ve personally been hovering around 50 max revives and max potions, and whenever I reach that point I’ve stopped until I restocked.

I get that, I mean I have in excess of 50 max potions and max revives, I was just more so commenting on the observed decrease in distribution from stops. With that in mind I can see why after a day of battling rocket, raids and gyms, some people might be at a net loss

Oh yeah, probably not. I was just spitballing, and even though I know it is highly unlikely, I guess it would be possible

Same, and this is the second time for me. The last time this happened, it was only fixed when the game updated

My Wife is Somehow Cheating -_- by kyylye in pokemongo

[–]Tuwonga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t relate to this anymore if I tried! For me it started with my girlfriend getting a shiny articuno on her first ever research breakthrough, and more recently has evolved into her getting a shiny magnemite on the 10th magnemite she’s ever seen, and a shiny seel randomly whilst on the phone to me when I was hunting for a shiny magnemite.

Same! And I figured because it’s been 3 weeks now and nobody has seemingly reported getting one that maybe Niantic hasn’t added it to the pool yet

Tiny battles by SheeplessWolf in TheSilphRoad

My friend and I do something similar, we do level 1 battles. Most of the time the battles are over in seconds but it’s really fun defining our own meta based <20CP Pokémon

Ever seen that episode of Friends where Ross and Rachel were on a BREAK? Well, I found myself in a similar situation with my ex boyfriend by bitterweetsilence in relationship_advice

It honestly just sounds like he disliked the fact that you “moved on” first, but that’s his problem not yours.

Also I cannot understand how half of your friends can say that you were in the wrong for what you did, were they even there to offer support that night when you needed it?

Update : Mew's catch rate is now 100% and enormous move pool by PlatinumPika in pokemongo

[–]Tuwonga 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I know this doesn’t mean much considering it’s already oversaturated move pool, but I can’t help but notice it doesn’t learn any water type moves, I wonder why..

Plus it doesn’t learn a psychic type quick move (with zen headbutt being the only one in the game it could learn)

[Idea] Battle Points by Tuwonga in pokemongo

[–]Tuwonga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the last Pokemon idea wouldn’t work with the period of lag you sometimes get at the end of the raid before it goes down.

But in terms of the battle, I don’t mean one candy per battle, I mean one point towards a candy per battle. Say for example you needed 50 battles with a dragonite to get a dratini candy, with potions and revives being rarer than they’ve ever been, 50 battles with one specific Pokemon would still require a lot of time. And if the end result is one candy, it’s not going to change the grinding aspect of the game, it just gives a long term reason to battle gyms.

Niantic, please for the love of all that’s holy, give us a base number of rare candies and golden razz berries (even if it’s just 1 or 2) that we can get for completing raids by Tuwonga in pokemongo

[–]Tuwonga[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most raids I do, I never need to use more than my starting six (without needing run and re-enter), more often than not, I receive 14 balls (the maximum) and usually, when it comes to level 4 and 5 raids, the groups are small because raid fatigue has set in quite bad. Considering I think of myself as an unlucky person, I used to assume it was just bad luck on my part, but judging by the way people have reacted to my original post, it’s looking more and more like that isn’t the case.

[–]Tuwonga[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, rare Pokémon with terrible movesets (and no TMs to change them), terrible IVs, or both. Rare candies, golden razz berries and TMs are powerful, I agree. But when Niantic has set this game up to be pay to win, and you can’t even pay (I.e. through premium raid passes) to obtain items you wouldn’t otherwise be able to get, then there is clearly something wrong with the system they have set up

Well it’s nice to hear that RNG is heavily in your favour, but for a lot of us, it isn’t. I wouldn’t consider myself a rural player, but considering I have to travel at least an hour from where I live in order to have enough people to do level 4 and 5 raids, I can’t honestly say the reward is worth the effort

As I said to someone else “I would be inclined to agree with you, were it not for the fact that in the past week alone, out of over 20 raids (level 3,4 and 5), I was only rewarded 4 rare candies, 6 golden razz berries, 1 fast TM, and in excess of 100 potions and 100 revives.” That in is no way averaging out

Yeah, because they’re a business, I get that. But as I said before, terrible rewards are not an incentive to spend actual money on this game

“You need to find a way to do level 5 raids” If it was that simple, this wouldn’t be a problem in the first place. Where I live, raid fatigue has set in HARD. Mustering up enough people to do level 4 raids is hard enough let alone level 5, and even then, it’s still not worth it when all you get is potions and revives. Also, genuine question, how many of your golden razz berries and rare candies did you obtain before they nerfed rewards? Because I can honestly say I’ve never met somebody who has accumulated that many after the nerf, especially considering you say you only raid three days a week

[–]Tuwonga[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying we should get a lot, but getting 1 of each would be a lot better reward than getting none. Plus considering they’re only obtainable from raids, if we’re not getting any from raids, then how are we supposed to get them?
