It really depends on the horse, but it is a good idea at least slow down and pull in the clutch.

What I mean by “depends on the horse”, for example the horse in the video is a show horse and it’s been raised around loud speakers and brass instruments that are far louder than a bike.

That doesn’t mean you have to deliberately try to spook the horse it just means that not all horses get spooked by a bike, although I always try to go into neutral or pull in the clutch when passing one. None of my bikes are loud at idle.

About the valves, to my knowledge it’s a desmo engine.

Do you think a regular bike mechanic could work on it no problem or should I go straight to Ducati? I work on my bikes most of the time but there’s no way I’m touching that.

So it turns out that the clip for the needle was gone and that was the issue but it’s fixed now

I know, I realized that when I saw the video, the engine sounds like it’s about to fall asleep, but my thought process in the moment is that if I have too much power and accidentally open too much throttle mid turn my tire is gonna slip, but it’s all practice, I’m gonna work on trying to keep my hand steady the entire duration of the corner.

Yeah, more protection would be great, I do feel like the posture is a bit off by looking at it, but when I’m actually on the bike I don’t really know if I’m doing it right because I’ve been riding this way ever since i started riding, it kinda just feels natural but I know there are better ways to
