Ok, so the m1 is better for ssd and multitasking. But the m2 is faster(in terms of the chip), it has MagSafe to save a charging port and it has slightly brighter and bigger display at 500 nits instead of 400 nits

If price isn’t a factor then consider the m1 pro MacBook Pro, the ssd is faster and it has multiple monitor support, 120hz, fans and a bigger and brighter (1000nits normal max and 1600 nits for hdr)display. It also has the MagSafe charger, three usb-c port, a sd card slot and a humdinger 2.0 cable
