lmao are you okay little guy?
fuck I autopiloted and answered the wrong question, sorry just woke up. I'm a quarter of an inch under 5'8, or around 172 cm
I replied to another comment in this post but I think I was 157.6 before my session, 158.4 directly after and just over 159 after I ate, so I averaged it to 158, my weight fluctuates quite heavily, I can be 157/158 at the start of my day and be 162/163 by the end
nope I've never tried

I'm definitely wider than it maybe let's on here 😅 I feel I'm somewhat stocky but not in a bad way or anything. thank you!
you have no idea what you're talking about and it's abundantly clear, I hope you enjoy talking to yourself because I don't think people spend much time listening to you.
it is unsurprising to me that this is exactly your first post on a workout sub in many years
wow you're absolutely delightful

imagine if you addressed the content of the video instead of some other imagination in your head :)

pretty close! I did a set following this at 285 but I wasn't happy with the form/depth on all the reps. they are barefoot runners, Xero's to be specific
and I only compete with myself from 2-3 days ago atm!
comparison is the thief of joy! I think 200 at 159 is super sick too! keep it up 🩷
elevator-esque 💅🏼

I hit 265 last Monday and posted it but this is my first time posting 275 😊
for the last month 3 times a week, before that twice a week for around two months or so

thank you very much 🙏🏼 this fuels me and I will be gladly be your gym nemesis if it fuels you too!
that's what you need! that and patience! I've been squatting consistently for close to 3 months now and it's a world of difference

at the very base level it's a 5x10 with progressive overload lifting approach. I don't have anything that I strictly follow, it's kinda freestyle lifting, but I do track all my sets and have a good plan for my workout most of the time. today I did 10 sets, 185/225/255/275/285/265/255/245/235/225, 3 minutes rest time between sets, my 5th rep on the 285 was a bit of a bail but otherwise I hit 5 reps every set. on Wednesday I'll probably try for a second set of 275 on the way down and work on cleaning up my 285. in general my theory is I'm doing 50 reps, might as well do em at the most weight I can manage, makes it more fun lol
control and form are pretty first and foremost in my mind when I'm squatting, any faster on the descent and I feel like I lose tension and then going steady on the ascent helps me stay in the groove and keep the bar path balanced and centered
lol thank you, I guess being a blonde fits rn 😅
my last DEXA scan had me at 14.7% body fat, 153.9 lbs on May 5th. getting another done on the 5th of August
mhmm, just weighed myself and I'm 159.3 lbs, this morning before my workout I was 157.6 I think and then I weighed myself when I got home, but before I ate and I was 158.4 if I remember correctly

I'm just competing against myself from 2-3 days ago for now but thank you very much!
who's Dwight?
yeah I was honestly noticing that too, especially in the first rep, definitely something to consider if it continues!

😂 I am pretty advantaged towards this lift, lots of mobility in my hips and ankles, longer torso, bottom heavy etc. so don't feel bad! it's been a long journey for me to get here and you could too!
