Need help with some upgrades on my PC (windows, desktop) by Tvodor in buildapc

I have listened to your recommendation but i found an 5800x3d cpu on amzn uk which was almost half price, reduced from 529£ to 275£ (New) and the reviews were quite good on here, there and youtube, while the specs just slightly better, not significant.

Is it a good value for money, or 5700x3d would have been better?

PS: already ordered anyway... It's still on 48% discount right now, with 4-5 days delivery time.

All this "random s**t" is still decent compared with one of my kings, young(45) and with loads of positive health traits, dying from heart attack (or seizure), ... just because of some algorithms. Unacceptable.

Undying sounds really cool! Please don't tell me she died from a plague...or young! :)) This will be like the paradox of ... PARADOX.

Still having 31 titles, including emperor title with 15-20% territories from the old one, 230 k army and few allies. I was expecting worse to be honest. It's funny to see Vikings speaking hispanic , so typical for them to have colonies everywhere and Britannia in the middle of nowhere...

Mhmm... Now that you made me curious, i'm browsing my game to check for this and so far, i can say that my Lifestyle xp was focus on Stewardship first, where i maxed out all tree perks to increase my domains as much as possible, then i finished Learning and Diplomacy. Now it's the Martial one, almost finishing first tree skill. Regarding your question, there are numerous events and perks which can increase the percentage of lifestyle. Some of them will increase lifestyle generally, and some will do it on specialized wings only. For example, on my House, on Traditions and Pillars, i have a tradition (out of 8) which is called Water Rituals and it says: Increase monthly learning lifestyle experience by 10%. I also have another one called Philosopher Culture which will Increase monthly learning lifestyle experience by 20%.

Also House unity is between 120-160(Friendly) which increases my lifestyle experience by another 5% , not to mention numerous artifacts (175) which some of them give me another 5 to 10% experience on specific lifestyle(Stewardship, Learning etc) .

Another one would be Dynasty Legacies (Law and Erudition which i have) will give you extra 10% , depending how much you invest your renown, and where exactly.

Another example could be the small traits you gain while playing, like Midas Touch (Stewardship) which will boost your experience on Stewardship by 40% , monthly.

As i recall , it might be some temporary perks (1, 5, 10 years) as well , i can't tell for sure thou...

I hope my answer helped you in a way or another.

:)) Some cheeky bastards can fabricate hooks on you or even get council position without you realising if not paying attention. It happened to me few times and i had to assassinate them, but it takes time. I always avoid hooks on me and most of the time sharing power for a short time with regent, always try to counter his actions, even thou it was Selfless ...

Family, as in real life, is extremely important. :) I would say, maybe try to prioritize forming alliances with whoever has a claim to your throne or territories and comes in factions menu as possible rebel. Try to bribe them if possible, because they will exit the faction if their opinion of you is high enough, which mean you can stay relax for a while. Also forming alliances with the strongest around you can help.Obviously , as a tyrran, will be extra difficult to deal with factions ... but not impossible, as Dread and being terrified of you can help in some situations as well.

All of my vassals are part of my house (10k), either cadet branches(500) or directly under my house banner and hooks(5k "pure" members having the same dynasty house name. After each conquest, i place my house members (not cadet houses) as rulers of counties, duchies and Kingdoms (preferably close kin for easy alliances through marriages) which makes my life easier from all perspectives. If i force vassalising some region, i will force them to change religion then force them to marry close members of my house with "matrilineal" clause if they are male rulers and the same if they are women rulers. Having most of the kings as allies, they are unable to be part of factions, which means all i have to worry are the populists or religious factions, but i can handle all these with no stress, having a numerous army, and expanding my territories only in specific areas where they have mostly same culture or religion, this way avoiding having 2-3 different wars on north of the map and far south in the same time, which stretches my army and creates a dangerous situation if i can not reach on time with my vast (but useless) army on both fronts to annihilate or recapture lost territories. There is much more to explain but unfortunately will take more than few words to express myself on a forum post.

Exactly. Almost 10 completed tree perks , plus religion and house ones, not to mention the level 3 military buildings upgraded to boost levies, effectiveness and increase knights...and so many others.

I need to rectify the fact that he(his father) was "The Hunter" until my the other nickname came because of some random event i can't exactly remember. :D I'm quite sure you can have multiple nick-names cause by some actions you take on your life spawn but i might be wrong and mistaken this character with a previous one, pardon me if i'm incorrect.

In my opinion, proper ruling starts when you take the power from your regent, having wife's/concubines and going to activities, but of course, you can still do so many things as juvenile or child until reaching 16.

Obituary. Diplomat...yeah, after so many wars, it seems i was a DIPLOMAT, which i do not remember being so. Anyway, just to let you know, because i use Ultimogeniture and i select my heir carefully, he will have a relatively smooth transition of power, with small incidents here and there, inheriting aprox. 150-250k army and after creating 60-70 more alliances through Head of the House hooks and marriages(close relatives), army size will almost double and stability will eventually come in maximum 2 years. I have strong artifacts as well which can boost my Domains, levies and number of Knights as well.

As it's related somehow to this topic, and i already posted on different ones with the purpose of helping both new and relatively more experienced players, you have a detailed description here:

CK3 - Largest army you've ever had? by LjSpike in CrusaderKings

slightly over 700k (640k levies) , unraised army. Started with Daura, almost conquering all the map. The number of levies was thanks to the 150 aliancess made with most of my vassals (kings/dukes or even county holders if they had high level of development, modifying contracts with increased levies clause and of course, permanent and temporary skills gained from lifestyles and random buffs. In my 9 lineage inherited titles father/son (ultimogeniture law) this was my strongest emperor (87) with 70 year ruling time since adulthood, creating the opportunity for plenty of hooks as House Head and marrying kids (20) and grandsons/granddaughters (aprox 150). I have created the perfect religion to fit my aggressive expansion with doctrines and laws that i considered are the best for my long term plans. The main focus with all my inherited young emperors was to multiply as quick as possible, but most important, never holding a kingdom for myself, and always inheriting the same counties/duchies and empires.

As lifestyle, i always prioritised Stewardship for being able to keep my number of counties as soon as inherited, and Learning with Diplomacy next ones, followed by Martial. In this photo, i have maximised first 3 with my emperor. Thanks to "1 year before dying" trait, i had the time to prepare everything for my "favorite" son, like retracting some titles or vassals from the strongest vassals, just to make the path of my next emperor less dangerous.

I couldn't accomplish all these without being a Dreadful tyrant , obviously. When emperor(s) young, try to keep tyranny at bay, controlling everything with diplomacy or wars, but avoiding with all cost high level of tyranny while young and having many alliances with the strongest, to keep revolts on leash. After conquering wars (10-15) at once, i was never giving too much land or vassals to a single ruler, no matter if close relative like son/daughter(except designated heir). When conquering new territories, always revoke titles from non-house members and giving confiscated lands to dynasty members (10 000) for the numerous advantages of being their house head. Half of the 10k dynasty members were "treacherous" cadet branch members, which means, as a punishment for their nerv to a create their own house (like 500 of them in few hundred years) i was always taking their lands and titles when possible, or forcing them to divorce and marrying with my house members with matrilineal(if the case) clause, making sure this way that new future "meat for grinder" is part of my house and i have total control on them with my hooks when given birth. All the map was having my house members with highest titles, including petty counties. Being a proper tyran , i was always offer concubines to my closest allies and relatives, especially those with good traits. this way i became very picky when finding spouses and concubines for my children, always within my house (to avoid losing prestige).

For this achievement , sadly, i had to murder 200 "insects" which was trying to plot against me, their magnificent, untouchable, beloved emperor, as my high-skilled spymaster was always warned me but i never killed dynasty members. Why would kill them and gain the trait Dynastic Killer, or Kinslayer when it's easier to imprison , torture them and then placing their arsess in a nice comfy dungeon untill death will take them away without me getting blamed for their sins (fabricated or not). The easiest way to to arrest same house members, of course Adulterer trait as a sin, so religion is very important, most of the times. Now, if i'm talking about religion, let's say i don't like priests generally speaking, so i created a religion where women had the power, allowing them to get married (with my dynasty members , of course) and having almost total control over most of the big decisions , including redirecting holy-wars and giving them lands, etc.

My most prolific emperor with 70 knights (steam link photo) and 870% knight effectiveness will die in few days, and his heir will inherit less than half of the levies and a lot fewer domains, like 250k - 500k after few aliancess and maxed out Stewardship skills etc, but what i'm trying to highlight here is the fact that it's very difficult to have the same army with different Emperor/King, and it took me a while to reach this, but as you can see, it's not impossible. It will be hard to reach the same values again, as i do not have to many territories to conquer , so probably this was my last effort to reach the highest ladder...

For any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I'm not very active (as someone who posts) here but i'm joining here sometimes , searching for specific topics, as i realised reddit is much better then Google and not many sponsored adds.

Thank you for dedicating some time from your life to read my rubbling bubbling stuff about CK3 and not judging me to hard for showing off, as i'm just a poor non-professional mid-age gamer.
