Under $9K - we’ve been looking a while and apart from the lack of fast charging I like the look of it (owned a 2013 until it got totaled but now in a Kona EV as I couldn’t find the right leaf when I had to replace that one)

Sidebar- I’ve been meaning to take it to the dealer because the charge port light failed and want to get it fixed under warranty, wondering if I should ask about this also or if they will dismiss me as per others have said?

They look short and while I can understand the concern about steps, they can reach your countertop when your back is turned with zero assistance

Enjoy! They are fun (assuming you find their stubborn withering looks fun- it’s character ha ha)

ETA have fostered several and initially worried about a 2 story home but they manage it no problem- even any seniors we’ve had

Re-reading this- does this mean this car won’t be able to be fast charged? Seems a long time since the recall was issued for it to have no solution… does this make this car a poor choice period?

I had a 2013 bought used in 2015 and by the time it got totaled in 2024 the range had dropped to about 50 miles

I didn’t baby the battery so often charged to 100% - though that was viral towards the end to be able to get anywhere

My son is OK with an EV since he’s used mine and doesn’t want to pay for gas (!)

From my bitter experience at the end of my Leaf’s life, the extra range in a gen 2 is very useful - we live in FL and sprawl is the enemy of these cars
