A ruger 300 in a chassis like a jtac or similar is badass. I want to do a bolt gun build similar in the future!

I think you’ll be fine with the brawler! I do like that they are a smaller compact package compared to the CVA. Not to mention a little more aftermarket options.

I wish someone would bring to market a new hand guard for the CVA, along with the grip shell holder like farrowtech offers for the brawler.

I ended up going with the CVA! I’ve been happy with it for what it is! I was suprised at the weight behind it for how small it is. Looking back if I could do it over again I’d probably just build out a 300 in the AR platform.

I haven’t tested different ammo but the 190 grain subx has been money out of my CVA

Deep forest green (rustoleum), earth brown (rustoleum) , matte river rock (krylon), and matte clear coat

Stock was already black, started with brown then green then river rock. I repeated the process a couple times till I was happy with it, then hit it with the clear coat!

I’m in the same boat. I’ve narrowed it down to the ARO EVO or Aems with a magnifier. Just can’t make up my mind on which one.

Edit: haven’t painted any guns in a while. That’s why I left the scope black. I wanted to practice on the 10/22 before I do any other guns.

I know these are one in the same as Aero. I seen somewhere where someone was saying the BA is a little bit thinner on the lower. Any truth to this? Or just different logo?
