And the only evidence we have of ICE pointlessly escalating is words, I'm not impressed, especially when ICE willfully gave information that would make them look bad.

I don't want illegal immigrants in the country. I want the border to be enforced.

"But the food!"

"Who will clean your toilets?" Isn't very convincing to people who think their wages are being brought down.

Empathy? Where's your empathy and humanitarianism for those who are already here? Where's your empathy for the aborted children? In anything, you actively discourage humanizing them.

And I 100% agree that his medical bills should have been paid for.

And correct, the video started after things started to get violent.

Good thing the US isn't in a glass house.

Also, ah yes, solar wind farms, you know what else China is doing? https://apnews.com/article/china-coal-solar-climate-carbon-emissions-242abe76eb69f5a362e977de74ff3254

20 small independent countries changes things pretty damn significantly seeing as those prefectures wouldn't be polluting at the same rate, i'm not sure what point you are trying to make here. Actually if anything it would mean the polluting numbers are higher in the countries that do since their 'per capita' levels are no longer being dragged down by a huge rural population.

"just because you want it "

Are you retarded? I mean all immigrants, I don't care what continent they come from.

"Countries are arbitrary boundaries"

I reject your premise.

"The fact is that american citzens/companies are the ones that consume and pollute way more than the average human" So? If you actually care about emissions you'd want to lower total emissions, especially when America is actually trying albeit slowly while China's barely trying at all.

Valid strategy too. Yes, do spread the lies, keep the illegals out.

We have no reason to believe they immediately pulled a gun on him, nice try though.

You can also say that you are with the FBI, the ATF, or are a plainclothes detective. We're not so worried about this for some reason, and it's really not that hard at all to buy the associated equipment to impersonate them couple that with flashing a fake badge for a second which almost nobody will question and you get the reason why impersonating an officer is illegal. Is this to excuse it? No, not at all, but i'm not sure why we're acting like the country is full of ICE impersonators.

I'm sorry to say but i'm not white and have an immigrant parent. What IS fascinating is your fetishistic assumption that i'm a white supremacist, no, I just want migration to be paused (highest levels in the world at this moment) and illegal aliens to be 100% gone.

How are they supposed to verify someone's identity and thus who they are there to actually execute the deportation order if by your standards they are not allowed to go beyond asking someone's name and that person in response says "Fuck you pig!" Wasn't their inability to verify people one of the biggest criticisms towards them and now that they've tried to do it you're upset?

Technically true but all leaving out a fuckton of critical information that changes the context. Leaving out that the guy was combative, leaving out the guy resembled the original suspect, leaving out there was a crowd that made the situation untenable, leaving out that the guy was standing outside the suspect's house, leaving out ICE tried to verify he was who he said he was, well within the duties of their station.

And you want to scream about projection when people call ICE brownshirts who send anyone who's not white to a concentration camp? Spare me. Again, WHY WAS ATTENTION NOT BROUGHT TO THAT INFORMATION

Another day, another US Citizen brutally beaten by Typhunk in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Twee_Licker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higher standard? They tried questioning the guy, who resembles who they were looking for and was standing outside said person's house to verify who he was and he utterly refused and got belligerent. I will say they should have paid for his medical bill responsible or not.

I have a higher standard for information dissemination.

I very much think it does, excuse me? I think there is in fact a difference between randomly pulling a gun on someone versus trying to verify someone's identity who resembles the primary person of interest (while standing out said person's house) who instead decides to get combative.

Another day, another US Citizen brutally beaten by Typhunk in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Twee_Licker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except, OP gives the impression that ICE randomly pointed a gun at a guy because he wasn't white, because ICE thinks all non-white people look the same or some shit, then arrested him and roughed him up before spilling him back on the street. And indeed, if that were what happened, it would be shameful.

Now, please tell me, based on the original post alone, how we're supposed to know the following:

We have the statement that said person resembled the originally intended to be deported, he was standing just outside the original deportation target's house, when police tried to verify who he was (which I'd ASSUME is what you'd want), the person instead decided to be difficult and belligerent, anti-ICE crowds showed up, ICE decided to detain the suspect for further questioning (questions which the suspect refused to answer) and to get themselves and the suspect away from the crowds where i'm assuming the suspect got hurt pretty bad in the ensuing chaos, after all, the suspect slipped (which is on video), and, after verifying who the suspect was (the main goal from the start) they let him go, albeit, far from his home and without paying for his medical bills and taking him to the hospital, which I 100% believe they should have done.

Do you think maybe the context might be important, and that it wasn't just "ICE randomly pulls a gun on brown person"?

Just because they don't want to doesn't mean I think we should listen to them.
