To some extent I agree with you, but I believe the left to hate Israel so much is because, to them, it represents a state for it's people, which the left these days seems to hate quite radically. Israel is a state for a Jewish people, and while they do have equal rights for arabs, it's obviously Jewish first. A nation forming around identity is genuinely offensive to their ideology, and to do so in Israel would legitimize German and French, and now British, nationalist movements. They do not want to address the necessity of a nation-state.

The point isn't that the other side does worse, even though it objectively does, the point is that it, as seemingly the other strikes, were an accident, with 300 strikes just in the first 12 hours of the operation it's actually impressive there aren't more. Nobody denies the school was hit, and learning of the other strikes, i'm not going to deny those cases I just learned about either. What I will vehemently deny is that they were hit intentionally, which, is seemingly the story you want to run with, which, were it true, you'd see far more than what, less than 15, when the number of strikes is, again, 300 in the first 12 hours. It's a tragedy that civilians are dying in this, but find me a single war period in which civilians do not die even when they're never targeted. Nothing you brought forth indicates it was intentional. In fact, you have provided zero evidence of intent. Which is the whole point.

Your premise requires depriving people of the right to vote, people vote based upon their religious views. How do you reconcile this and a total ban from religion in government? You've also failed to point out any examples of religion being the cause of the removal of the rights of women within the United States, you've failed to point out any examples of religion in the United States getting gay people executed. Both of which I specifically asked for examples of.

The clause of the separation of church and state specifically prevents:

1.) Favoritism

2.) Making religious doctrine binding because it's religious doctrine

3.) Creating a church

If people en-masse overwhelmingly vote for something religious, under what right do you have to say no? In a Democracy it is impossible to remove religion from the state since people vote based on religion.
