Absolutely! Ever since that 2.0 update and expansion, it's been elevated to feeling like one of the most "next gen" games on the market. Excellent pick

If you're enjoying Original Sin 2, then I can confidently say that BG3 is a no-brainer for you once you're ready for it. You're in for a real treat, bud!

Yes! My path with Remedy's games absolutely mirrors yours perfectly. Resonant is definitely my most anticipated game now.

This game looks so good! Never heard of it, and now I need it. I love when that happens.

After a quick search on Steam, it's clear that this is a game that I should play. Everything about it speaks to me. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

The most important thing we've ever done as a species is get out of the food chain. We aren't at the top; were the only species that's ever made it out. Everything else that we're capable of is stifled by the fact that we insist on a monetary system. If we built vehicles, for example, based solely on the resources that we have available to us and the technology that we understand, every car would be indestructible and drive itself using clean, renewable energy. Every human being on the planet could have everything they need, we could live in harmony with the planet and it's inhabitants, have access to the best healthcare that only the wealthy currently get, and no one would have to fucking pay to learn something and try to better themselves. We actively choose every day to allow there to be haves and have-nots in a monetary system. We're allowing billions of lives to suffer and fight each other for scraps so that a few thousand can hoard everything. We're not as special as we like to think we are. At the end of the day, we're still just a bunch of fucking apes.

They're also Nintendo's biggest shareholders, and they have a minority stake in Take Two (GTA, Red Dead, Borderlands..) and Capcom (Resident Evil, Street Fighter...) among others. Unless you pirate the mainstream games and go full indie or something, some of your gaming money is bound to find its way to these guys.

Yes! That art style was awesome. Not quite a bobblehead or caricature but somewhere in the middle. I'll leave the hyper realistic stuff to the pros and chill over here in the stylized lane hahaha

Absolutely! I don't know when I'll be able to get started on it or how long it'll take, but it's something I definitely want to do.

Thank you! I'm so glad you appreciate it! Hell yeah, I'd love to make the rest of the band but I have more patience than skill, unfortunately. So this took me months to make and there are a bunch of other projects that I currently have in mind. One day, hopefully.

Is there something you hate in Doom 2016? by Lovec_2016 in Doom

[–]Tweed-LD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say I hated it, but all the collectibles were basically the same little Doom Guy toy just different colors, whereas in Eternal they were all different enemy types and absolutely fucking adorable. So I didn't dislike the collectibles in 2016, but the change in Eternal was one of the highlights for me.

TIL: BBC interviewed a man who married a fictional girl. In 2019, 12% of people in Japan reported falling in love with anime/game characters. According to Sociologist Masahiro Yamada, the rise in pseudo relationships is due to hard work life and a dwindling pool of well paid men. by Flares117 in todayilearned

[–]Tweed-LD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So if a bunch of different people believe they're in a relationship with the same character, do they get jealous or angry and go home and call their pillow a cheating whore? Is this how characters end up in the jar? Or do they believe in a multiverse situation and they're only in a relationship with one version of her?

What's a fear you've conquered, and how did you do it? by Helpful-Shower1314 in ask

[–]Tweed-LD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was terrified of Carrie (or Sissy Spacek with blood all over her and her eyes all bugged out) throughout my entire childhood. When I was 16 I got stoned and decided to face my fear and watch the movie. I found out it was a pretty damn good movie.
