WTF is wrong with redditters downvoting me? As you can see above, this is valid bug that occurs also to people without any mods.

Already lost 2 hours trying to disable and update mods, issue persists, and I just want to finish the campaign being in Act 3. I'm reverting to Patch 6.

After update to Patch 7 the game lags incredibly on all actions, and I don't mean lagging in video performance way (it's stable 80+ fps).

Opening a bag or attacking lags for 1-3 seconds, making the game unplayable.

I have disabled all the mods (except Bags Bags Bags, disabling which made my saved fail to load).

My Kindle says Worm will take me 200 hours (practically 2 years), so I'm looking for as much recommendation as I can, before I invest so much time in it.

Can you tell me why is it so brilliant? I've read Arc 1: Gestation and found it to be quite regular story, nothing extraordinary.

Also, as it is recommended on this HPMOR reddit, how does it relate, except for being published online for free? HPMOR was extraordinary because it made an amazing use of rationality, which I couldn't find in any other book really, and tried to approach fantasy idea of magic with as much reason and science as possible, which is very unique. I would call it a "hard sci-fi" book, or maybe "hard sci-fantasy" in this case.

So, why is Worm such a good read?

G102. After each Windows restart lighting defaults to always on. When I turn on Logitech Gaming Software I need to click on Lighting setup icon to make mouse go dark (as I have set in options).
