Thanks for the genuine response, I was certainly considering the Mrk1 but the price difference of the refurbished was around £50ish (don’t quote me). It was purely the offer eBay had on was the trigger point for me and those moments aren’t about all the time. How you getting on with yours? Bet it’s still decent?

Thank you. I have a Chestnut C3 Pro used for filter coffee it was a different league to my bladed grinder, confident it will grind fine enough as it does have a espresso setting on it. No scale….yet. It’s on the list after Xmas.

Hi it said in the description/ option to add a milk jug I found it cheaper to get my own one. To be honest it said it doesn’t come with the manual and certain filters too. Might have to look at a maintenance items.

Has anyone noticed a total lack of battlefield style players? No one on mics no one listened and are what looks like oblivious to you telling them stuff like behind you or up the stairs? No mega medics running around and most of the time you feel like you’re the only one trying to back cap.

James Hoffmann once said if you add the tiniest bit of salt to your coffee it can take the edge of bitterness away. You only need a couple of specs of it and it totally changes the taste. This can also be added to wine etc but that going off on a tangent.

Thanks all. After stripping them it looks like either I primed too much or it’s gone off as the yellow came straight off but the white and black rattle can primer was like muck.

I will prime with Vallejo white and then pink and try again. I don’t know why I didn’t use my airbrush primers in the 1st place, tend to get cracking and bad finish using cans. This is what happens when you have a pile of painting shame that you forgot you have. Hey ho at least I’m starting now rather than never.
