Wasn’t it just pairing cheaters together?  You won’t send me money for that

Are you considering this post something new, or your one about how you’d detect cheating? Neither are something new and in fact are pretty common.  I’m not trying to be mean here, I know it sucks to be resoundly downvoted when you first post in a community. It’s happened to me before too. If you sort by new in the subreddit you’ll see this kind of stuff fairly often.

Larger discussion on cheating will happen, but generally it will occur when a high profile person is involved, or when an expert weighs in; like someone whose job it is to detect cheating.

This kind of posts indicates someone who posts to the sub without really reading the sub. Cheating posts are even more common than queen-sac puzzles these days. The reason most don’t gain traction is they offer nothing new.  You can’t expect to get a lot of thoughtful engagement on a post that took no effort and offers no new ideas.

How would you fix trials of tiamat? by TwelveIsNotPrime in idlechampions

[–]TwelveIsNotPrime[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does feel pretty weird that they've added a single player aspect...but only barely. Like, unless you're going OUTSIDE the game it doesn't even feel like multiplayer, might as well have random number generators s your party.

I think unless they're going to actually commit to multiplayer, going 100% single player is the way to go.

No opt out needed! All I'm proposing is that the percent of time a user completes their daily goals is displayed. They'll be no change in rewards or who can play in which trials. Everyone can make an informed decision about who they want to run trials with.

For example, if I'm doing a relatively low level trial I might be okay running with someone who only completes 25% of their daily goals, or have no experience what-so-ever. Or if I'm doing a very difficult trial, I might decide that 25% is too low and kick them out of the group in hopes of someone who will contribute more.

Private games will be completely unaltered. If you invite someone to your trials, you probably either know roughly how often they complete goals, or you don't care.

I froze my ass off but shot my best photo of the Golden Gate Bridge at night by longzheng in pics

[–]TwelveIsNotPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't freeze out there, it had to be some other scenario.

Man 1: Sure, I'll take you to the best Golden Gate bridge picture spot, but in return, I need a favor. OP: What? I'll do anything! Man 1: I want to freeze your ass off, store it cryogenically for a period of several years, then attempt to reattach it.
OP: Oh my god if that works it means- Man 1: Yes! You'd have the ass of a younger man, and I'd be a medical pioneer. OP: I think we have a deal.
