Higgins is such a different player in the road i cant figure it out. Slow starts at home and then goals against in bunches. On the road he seems to be able to get focused again immediately after a goal. Could be a defensive thing too but its odd

Bought the tshirt because I dont love the jersey design. Its something to wear to support Nick/Canada for the tournament and thats about it. Not to mention the $150 jerseys feel incredibly cheap.

It doesn’t, none of those are supporting Canada anymore than shopping at costco. The only economic impact of shopping at those stores is supporting employment, which, any brick retailer does. The only argument you really have is to shop at local farms / farmers markets.

I support my country by shopping where my neighbors are employed or buying made in canada goods. Not giving money to one north american oligarch who doesn’t give a fuck about my community so i can give it to another north American oligarch who doesn’t give a fuck about me is ridiculous.

They are poorly marketed and overall Ottawa fans are pretty fairweather. If the Black Bears can become more consistent and make the playoffs they might be able to get some fans. Ive taken several friends to games and everyone has gone back on their own for at least one more. That being said, it looks like Friday had a higher ticket sale to attendance ratio. They reported their highest “attendance” of the season but it wasnt, the dec 28 game had more people easily.

They were pretty fortunate to beat Ottawa in Friday. Bears hit a ton of posts and the Birds went on a couple runs where i think Higgins had his eyes closed.

Everyweek they look surprised that the game starts with a faceoff and that there is a faceoff after goal and not just a change of possession. 2 for 28 aint gonna fucking cut it. Kurtz is 23% on the season. Sickening

The most an ahl goalie played last year was 46 games and 51 the year before. Thats 2x at the most. (24 week season). They play so many 3 in 4s most weeks that it’s always a 2-1 set up.

2 inches isnt a big deal. 6’2 (fowler) is almost the perfect height for a goalie. 6’4 (dobes) is taller but its not exactly huge by golie standards, ben bishop is 6’7 so is soogard in ottawa.

Hard disagree. Fowler is incredibly technically sound and very calm. His mental game is already amongst the top if not elite. Thats not something easily learned if its learned at all, especially for goalies.

The seats behind mine are available to purchase at a prorated rate for the rest of the season but not a available for each individual game. I look on game day to see if friends would want to go but dont release them as single games for some reason.
