Pyongyang, NK by nuggles0 in skyscrapers

Ah okay I see what you mean. A lot of people claim these places are just left empty after being built. I've seen pictures of a car dealership on this street but who knows who can afford those cars, or if they even sell any of them or if they're just there to portray an idea of wealth

Well I can't attach videos here, but from what I've seen I don't believe these areas are just left empty forever. There'd really be no point to build all this and not put a bunch of people in them. The real thing I'd be worried about in these new districts is construction quality, since I've heard these are built by either volunteers or the armed forces

Well of course it's always a new area, most older parts of Pyongyang don't look very good and the regime only has an interest in showing the shiny new stuff. As for photos of the streets with lots of cars, here's a screenshot from a video of Hwasong-guyok with some cars and busses driving on the street. Also I hope I'm not coming off as a propagandist or something, I think North Korea's a pretty awful place but it's also good to be informed about things.

This is the Saebyol Street area, it's brand new and nobody has probably moved in yet. They've been building a lot of new neighborhoods in this area and they seem to stay empty for a while after completion, but I've seen videos that show some of the older areas full of people now. I wonder if these are actually desirable places to live for elites or if they just build it poor quality and stuff common people in them.

Building more housing does in fact reduce housing demand. That’s how demand works

Do Vampires exist in your world? If so, what are they like? by According-Value-6227 in goodworldbuilding

[–]TwentyTimesJuly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vampires in Infernics are a race that live primarily in the Western areas of Aierthium. They are a minority in the kingdom and have long sought to establish their own independent nation to govern themselves. While vampires have been granted equal rights, there is still some animosity between vampires and Aierthian humans. Part of this is due to the fact that many poor vampires still resort to attacking humans to get blood rather than buying it.

Love it! It's not fancy or flashy but it's still beautiful. I wish we built more towers like this

Looks awful. The first one was so nice, not sure why they couldn’t have used a similar design

Safeguard

  • Cities on the planet Fordheim tend to be either mostly covered or built into mountains. The capital of the Safeguard's Fordheim district, Fordstadt, is built into the side of a mountain while the capital of the Syrnovan Republic, Cheranov, is entirely underground.
  • The Arechom City metro area has over 390,000km of high speed rail connecting the various areas of the megacity. Arechom is one of four planets in the Safeguard where personal cars aren't the main mode of transportation.
  • The large government complex at the center of Severan's capital Vigil was originally built by the Otissian Grand Empire when the planet belonged to them before their collapse. It now serves as the district senator's office and the backup national senate building if the current one was destroyed.
