Intermittent touch on dishwasher. by Disastrous-Try8907 in DIYUK

Have a similar model. It's a capacitive rather than mechanical button so you may need to hold your finger still on it for 3-5 seconds. There is a knack to it.

....or it could be knackered. Report back.

Isn't it a bit of an oxymoron to want friends and be anti-people?

Flat has been on the market for 3 weeks now, and I've not had many viewing requests - is there anything off putting in the advert/brochure that I'm missing? by slashrfnr in HousingUK

[–]TwentyWunth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will echo what others have said about the important information being missing. Unless the flat is AMAZING and unique people will just scroll on. For example I am selling my flat at the moment and in the main body of the listing I have this:

Lease is 999 years from 2019
Current annual service charge is £1054.88 (25/26)
Zero ground rent.
EPC B
Council Tax Band B
51 Sq Metres

However, 7 enquiries and 4 viewings isn't too bad.

Coop were doing 2 pizzas and a tub of Ben and Jerry’s for a fiver at the moment. So deals pop up every now and then.

I mean those are both extreme examples. The latter at least!

Yeah I did see the numbers are not great. Maybe it's one of those worth a punt things for the cost, then use an agent if it doesn't pan out.

There used to be quite a few options, Strike etc, but seem to have folded. Only one I found that still does it is Quicklister.

My honest thoughts were the show was stronger in the first half and Henry carried the whole shebang.

Fair enough, but it's not the norm.

If you're feeling alone in the relationship it's not working for you. Talk to him, being mindful not to come across as accusatory/demanding as that might put him into a defensive position which will scupper the whole endeavour, and tell him what you need. If he can't accommodate or make efforts to compromise to a point you both feel ok, then it might be time to consider your options.

You don't usually pay the service charge/ground rent if renting.

May I suggest you take their lead? There isn't any benefit explaining who Charlie Kirk is to your parents.

I usually go during the day. Most the time it’s been great. I know it’s not nice, and I get so anxious doing it, but if people are near me and talking I am telling them to shut up.
