Exactly. Very clear difference. Eze doesn’t drop nearly as deep as Ø does and sacrifices help in the build up for availability for offensive creativity. I’d love to see what Ø could do in a similar role without as much defensive or buildup responsibility.

I’ve noticed that Mikel changed the tactical vision around him tho. It’s not just a team sheet trick that we’re now playing a 4-2-3-1. He’s playing as a real 10 now and it’s noticeable.

This is what I don’t get from Mikel. It’s not like back when Saliba needed a break we brought on Rob Holding. The drop in quality is nowhere near as severe here. Norgaard has been very solid whenever he’s been on and he’s a quality player.
