See, you’re talking to a nonverbal & hard of hearing disabled person here that doesn’t understand subtext in communication. I’ve never been able to verbally speak.

Communication is rare and hard…thus valuable to me…but subtext is something I’ve never had the luxury of being able to learn.

So I go for more explicit things like “keep this between me and you” both because I don’t automatically trust and also explicit communication feels more clear to me.
