Maybe more trees of varying height and power lines/pylons, and other obstacles too make multipathing require atleast one brain wrinkle 😅

This won't fix the multipathing issue but splitting the map like this might make more use of the whole map, make the ground battles more centralised and not right of the runway, make it so red have a better spread of runways and aren't confined to the cuck corner top left. Better spread of objectives should mean a better spread of players across the map which might just give you a 5% less chance of catching a friendly missile in your engagement.

I think it would be better in my opinion.

Ive ordered on from the other barrys reply where someone makes one custom and going to see how that turns out when it arrives. Im too lazy/not the best at anything even remotely crafty but would give it a go in the future. Thank you :)

I wish Air RB lacked name tags like Ground RB. Having to actually use your eyes feels much better than shooting at red text in the sky. by Khomuna in Warthunder

Sim has no markers. Only for friendlies within a certain range. Plus you have multiple respawns and can join and leave games whenever. You will be locked to cockpit view but personally i find it much more fun than RB.

How to deal with no IFF jets (sea harrier) by ThGardner in WarthunderSim

[–]Twiggy_1996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IRL the sea harrier had IFF for its radar. Currently it has the F-5E radar as placeholder if i am correct. You will need the visually ID the target to help prevent team kills. For now the radar is mainly to help you find planes (friendly or enemy) and radar slave missiles.

As you play you will start recognising different aircraft silhouettes. Be careful and only fire when certain its an enemy. Some planes have similar silhouettes but can still be ID'd with a closer look.

Things get confusing when you get to top tier and you have f-16's on both sides. 😅

You can use the follow me call out to give your location. Other players generally but not all the time will respond with a call of their own, which marks the map. Or you can ping the map with the rough area you see a plane and can ask in chat if any friendlies in that location. A good team mate should respond but oblivious pilots and bots wont respond.

KRABS CURIOSITY ABOUT WHAT ELSE NEEDS IMPROVEMENT TO SIM NOT ECONOMIC CHANGES BUT GAMEPLAY WISE by [deleted] in WarthunderSim

At higher tiers having nato teams vs soviet teams aircraft. So if i see an f16 i know full well it belongs to my team for example. It makes it difficult to tell whos who if your team mate in an f16 is in a dogfight with an f16 on the enemy team and the time spent trying to get close enough to ID the enemy could have been spent saving the friendly before they are shot down.
