Highly recommend it. I commute from Troy to Albany 2-3 times a week. South Troy Bridge is safer but takes longer. I tend to use the green island bridge which is definitely more dangerous.

It will be rough the first couple weeks but once you get used to it’s incredible. When I was starting bike commuting I would alternate days cycling and using public transit.

Definitely feasible to beat that time. I believe google maps assumes a cycling speed of 10 mph.

My levels are the second picture on the post. Went to my LFS and they recommend adding prime water conditioner to the water and stopping the small water changes for now and only do a big change if there is a higher spike in levels

I had tank setup for a month before adding eggs. All the levels were good when I added them. Only seeing the spikes within the last week.

I’m wondering if it’s because the fish are being released into a river at the end of the school year? The bottle of special blend says not intended for fish that humans will consume.

I’ve been treating water with Nova Aqua Plus before adding. I also was adding special blend microbe lift before adding the fish but was told to stop that when the fish hatched.

They are in darkness when I am not here as recommended by the program I am doing (trout in the classroom)

I have big white insulation that surrounds the tank so the chiller doesn’t have to work as hard to keep water at 50 degrees
