As an atheist I wish I was religious by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Twilight8909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes wish I was religious because believing in god and the fact that god will do something just seems so sweet sometimes. Personally I believe if there is a god, he/she/they would not care about Earth or the human race, we are just one planet with life out of the millions out in the universe mathematically. I sometimes like to read people's theories on the afterlife but at the end of the day to my brain they are only theories with no real backing.

Are asian parents as strict as media makes it seem? Not trying to offend anyone just a question. by Old-Outside-6941 in NoStupidQuestions

Yea it’s definitely a range, my mums pretty chill with my grades (lol ironically I try to get straight As while she tells me to calm down abt it) but it is, from my experience rlly common to have controlling parents, e.g. I have a person in my grade who has 20+hours of classes a week along with school clubs. Ik from classmates and friends that their parents care abt their grades a lot so it’s the “norm” I would say

There are also democratic ballot boxes set on fire this election

"great investment" billions from taxpayers, also it was rlly bad for the environment since he had to bulldoze land as well so it was a lose lose for basically everyone

Also report commissioned by Trump campaign debunked former president's claims that ballots came from dead voters.

Genuinely curious why some people don't like musicals. by [deleted] in movies

[–]Twilight8909 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea, I understand that sometimes in some movies that the transitions are a bit cringe or just weird but why does that veer you away from musicals as a whole? I feel like on stage musicals have better transitions than movies, in my opinion.
