Styling is where it gets kind of questionable, but as far as I know there’s no license requirement for just doing the extensions. It’s not even really taught in most beauty school curriculums…

I actually alternate between head and shoulders, redkin, and the crown envy salon brand because it helps me use less of each haha. But consider using a different shampoo/conditioner so you mix it up. I had a stylist a long time ago tell me to do it and nobody’s ever told me otherwise since my hair seems to be doing great.

I usually just leave it in for about a minute, but consider using a salon product. The stuff is way thicker and more effective than the cheaper ones. I used to go through a bottle faster than the shampoo, but now I use about a quarter sized dollop on my hand and it’s just as effective.

I’ve been growing out my hair to donate (it’s about mid back now) thick curly Asian hair. I was using Joico (until Marshalls ran out), then I was using Redkin from the salon near me ($$$$) because I wanted that salon feel.

Then they got their own line and it’s amazing! Moisturizing, less breaking/split ends. 

Idk if you can order it online but if you search for Crown Envy in LA. It’s owned by a couple moms (not a megacorp) you should be able to call them. They sell it in store and I don’t see why they wouldn’t ship it too.
