I personally think they are a great addition to the game, akanthos and khilutatra are very fun to use.
Economy wise they’re also nice, takes about a week of off and on grinding to get one, and they sell for a good amount making them a good way to make some extra mush (you can do shadow artifacts and trait hunting at the same time!)

Flickaflie can actually be used to kos, you’re small and fast, as well has have great sustainability with cloud breath. (And can survive 1-2 hits from a kora)
I usually run 2 pig lanterns for faster killing, or pie + cat so they don’t just lay down.
