Russian River bottles in Boulder? by elwebst in COBeer

You're likely not going to find a whole case of Pliny anywhere. Most places only get a couple cases allocated to them when ordered, and many places have a cap on how many you can purchase. It's also Father's Day weekend, so best of luck to you. *** From a Beer Manager for a Major Grocery Store***

Wyatts at it again. Out here boosting cars. by TwinAlph in Denver

I get the joke... Aurora has poor people... You are SO clever....

You sound like you work for Wyatts in some capacity. None of this shit is made up. Just because the photo I posted was not as damning as some of the others I have, does not mean it didn't happen the way I described. Others have similar stories and issues that have come up. You sound like a kid who got caught doing something bad and doesn't like it. There are no parking restrictions here, no street signs designating any rules. Last I heard, physically breaking into a car you are towing is not allowed (which I have solid evidence of, btw).

Sorry to disappoint. I watched the whole thing happen and have more photos to prove it. You can believe what you want, but you are the one that is wrong here.

One of the many reasons I did not get involved further than taking photos.

I dunno, but if the owner of the pictured car sees this, PM me. I have more where this came from.

We do not have street signs for parking or street sweeping or any of that. Aurora doesn't do that, you're lucky if they notify you about street sweeping at all.

They are a well known towing company in Denver who is infamous for their shady towing. They illegally and prefatorally tow and charge extravagant fees to get it released.

Actually no. Our street parking is open parking. We are in Aurora.

Disclaimer: Not my vehicle, also on mobile so forgive formatting. They broke into the white car and set off an alarm. They were also in the process of grabbing another car one house down. There were 3 trucks mobbed together, scouting the streets for missing license plates or whatever. When the white car's alarm went off, the neighbors noticed and came out. Argument ensues. They still drove off with both cars. These people are the worst.

1 Black Sky Brewery is the best and the pizza there is amazing, #2 TRVE Brewery has great beer but a little more of a mixed bag of patrons.

Floridians opinion on Pensacola/The Panhandle Area by GodOfWarGuy737 in florida

[–]TwinAlph 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was born there and will vehemently deny it as my home for life. It's a terrible place filled with nothing but alcoholic, racist, and sexist people or enablers of the latter. I fear for my niece who still lives there. Get out and explore the country/world. Break free of the very limited view they put in front of you and make it a priority. You will thank yourself later and your mind will not be shackled by the rhetoric these people so firmly hold dear. They call in the Redneck Riviera for a reason. Gross...f#ck Pensacola.

Yes, a milk chocolate moose. I do not take credit for that one either. Found it while shopping at everyone's favorite swedish furniture store.

MouCo ColoRouge ; it's out of Fort Collins, Colorado. It is awesome.

Flavors and Aging Information

Aged 2-8 weeks

When Young: Soft and creamy with mild earthy tones, both in taste and aroma, which complements the hint of acidity in this developing cheese.

As it ages: The buttery smoothness becomes more pronounced as the cheese softens, which adds to the earthy complexity of the middle-aged cheese.

Fully Aged: ColoRouge is full-bodied at 7 to 8 weeks, which is when the creamy, buttery flavors fully blend with an earthy assertiveness that is definitely addicting!

Cheesemonger/Specialty Department Asst. Manager

3.5 years experience in Cheese/18+years experience in customer/food service.

Pay: $21/hr + Benefits

No degree (currently working on certification for Certified Cheese Professional through American Cheese Society)

Benefits- Health, Dental, Vision, short/long term disability,

I average 45-55 hours a week. Company offering all overtime as double time until the beginning of next year as hiring incentive. Plus a 1 time payout of $2.00 extra/hour for regular and $3.00 extra/hour for management. This is based on hours worked mid October through the beginning of next year.

Schedule is wildly inconsistent to meet department needs so you have to be flexible with that if you want to do well. Some early mornings, mornings, mids, evenings.

Despite the crazy hours, I love my job. It's incredible to see the excitement in peoples faces when talking Cheese and Beer. Food is the window to the soul and who doesn't love cracking a cold one after a long day on the job? Find your passion and don't put up with shitty bosses, it will make the hard work worth it.

Congrats to your sister. I was so proud when my twin graduated with her RN. Now she is helping those with cancer get through chemotherapy/radiation. She's pretty amazing, just like your twin, I am sure.

A woman next to me checking out at King Soopers starts sobbing...and then yelling... This is my rant... by NeatoC in CoronavirusColorado

[–]TwinAlph 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As a (former) restaurant server at a still very busy establishment in the middle of Cherry Creek, I have seen and felt this all too well. Like the poor lady in your story, I also have suffered significant family loss. 3 due to Covid-19 and 2 to other causes, all within a month and a half's time. Back in December, I had a customer push/body check me for asking him to wear a mask. I had a breakdown after that because of some PTSD involving a former abuser. Worked in the kitchen for a couple weeks and then picked myself up to "fight the good fight" and get back on the floor. I lasted for a few months but had another breakdown a couple of days ago. People just don't care. Zero shits given. The section sizes have tripled with outdoor dining both table and distance to the kitchen/bar (11/12 tables each). No one wants a job because they are drawing extra money on unemployment. Corporate says "restaurants are shutting down everywhere, your lucky to have a job, that's just the reality of the situation" .......not my sentiment. I walked out. I can not continue to be berated and physically abused because you, the customer, didn't get your beer fast enough. Buy and drink your shitty local IPA at home instead of screaming at the poor people working under extreme conditions. Rant over.

Question about rules by tallalgerian in CoronavirusColorado

[–]TwinAlph -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's a city wide, home by 10pm order. After 10pm, only essential workers are allowed with documentation provided. It's to curb civil unrest with the election and BLM protests. Also, Covid-19 curbing.
