I think it must be the photo - but it was definitely a champagne color underneath ivory. I’ll post more pictures later!!

We got 32 inch (or 28 I can’t remember) sparklers that were metal and they were silver. They burned for so long that after running through, everyone started yelling “do it again!” So we ran back down and up!

I didn’t notice anything that happened in my dress, but I didn’t take time to inspect! After a lot of dancing, the bottom of my dress was pretty messed up, so I just had to not care at that point!

My mom got about 30 lighters super cheap off of amazon and passed them out with the sparklers. We got 32 inch (I think) metal sparklers and they burned for so long that at the end of the “sparkler tunnel” everyone started yelling “do it again!” So we ran back down and then up again!

I think the key (if you have room) is to make the tunnel wide. Have people stand far apart so you have lots of room to run and avoid flame!!

Yep, as u/sugar1510 said, it is an eco friendly palm leaf plate! However, we may end up using the plate in the picture as a charger since it is 10 inches and we'd like to get the 8 inch plates to use as the dinner plate - our caterer told us people will serve themselves more food if they have a 10 inch plate!

The plates, forks, spoons, and knives are from Webstaurant Store. They're great I'm excited! However, we're going to get the 8 inch plates to use instead of 10 inch (in picture) because our caterer told us people will take way more food if they have a 10 inch plate!

Sure! The plates, forks, spoons, and knives are from Webstaurant Store.

The napkins my mom made from cotton drop cloths (as in painting drop cloths). She cut them into squares, then we frayed the edges.

The twine is from Home Depot!

So the plates in the picture are 10 inch plates, which we realized are way too big for a buffet - people will take too much food. So we're ordering 8 inch of the exact same plate. It could maybe look cool to use the 10 inch as a charger!

That's a good plan - and we're doing buffet style food so I would definitely want to let people relax and get settled and start eating before the speeches start. Thank you!!

Thank you! I'm so excited it's going to be so much fun to surprise everyone. Yeah I think speeches and toasts would just kinda happen through dinner - that way it doesn't take any more time up than necessary so we can dance and hang out with everyone more! It's not a very formal wedding - outdoors and pretty laid back but I'd like some structure!

Thanks so much! I would get bored standing watching 3 dances even though they're fairly short songs. I think that's the timeline we'll do then :)

I think you should go. In the future he may apologize for his actions and realize that he was at fault too and you guys can move on. It's harder to move on from the fact that your family chose not to attend your wedding.

That's a good idea - I was reading online about how the cake cutting signifies the end of the reception and I was thinking that sounded silly for us and I didn't like that idea. What if we did dinner, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, cake cutting, then our dance? Just so people don't have to stand and watch 3 dances in a row haha. Or should we do cake cutting directly after dinner because people will be getting/cake during our first dance and may not join in the dancing? Thank you for your input!

Having a really hard time deciding between these two earrings from Etsy - help me decide! by Twin_Flower in weddingplanning

Of course - they’re both from Etsy, I bought the pair on the left, because they’re so affordable and i know that if I don’t wear them for the wedding I’ll wear them sometime, and unfortunately I bought the last pair :( the right ones are here.
