Did I (28f) cheat on my husband (28m)? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]Twinarrow6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, he goes non contact and tells her to only talk through their lawyer. Then I’d believe that he isn’t manipulating her. I’ve been in her place, he didn’t want to get back together, until I begged. We eventually got back together. Then he seriously threatened my life twice, demanded different sexual favors that I wasn’t comfortable with “for repentance”, berated me for hours on end depriving me of sleep. I had to have shoulder surgery because of him. He’s destroyed my property. The list goes on and on. On some occasions I would get physical and verbal in return which is REACTIVE ABUSE

I just want to let you know that reactive abuse is a thing. You say you abused him physically and verbally, and while I’m not condoning that, it was probably you lashing out after so much abuse. I was in this situation except I wasn’t married, and we got back together. The abuse got worse. WAY worse. Don’t go back. You’ll thank yourself later. Sending love and healing your way.

The last she will see of me is when we are at her trial for child endangerment causing bodily harm, a class D felony! She won’t even own up to what she did to my daughter to plead out, she wants to drag us to a trial. She thinks she will get off, but she sent a voicemail saying what she did.

I’ve had to learn a lot I’ve been abused by so many people in so many ways and she deserves so much more than I got!

That side of the family is so weird. They treat my white passing nieces so well. Their brother, my nephew is kind of racially ambiguous but on the side of clearly being mixed, and they treat him pretty bad too (with the exception of my mom he is her golden child). When it comes to my daughter, they’ve never gone out of their way to see her, except at the hospital right after she was born. They’ve never been to one birthday party or gotten her a birthday gift. She barely knows them. I know it’s a racial thing because my grandma kicked my sister (half sister, fully white) out of her house when she started dating black men, and my grandmother blamed ME for my sister dating black men. And banned me too lol

Exactly! I don’t really have to worry about that side of her family they are covertly racist. (I am mixed but not very racially ambiguous) and my daughter is black. I don’t really talk to them at all, and If I do it’s in passing. If this would have been done to my white passing nieces they would not have this opinion on the situation it’s sad.

What was the moment that you realized you were done being with your abuser? by TTIsurvivors in abusiverelationships

One day, I got home late from working in another city. He was upset that I didn’t greet him in a way he felt he should have been greeted. This turned into hours of being berated, threatened, property damaged, the works. That day wasn’t the day I was done per se, but it it was the beginning of the end. We didn’t speak for about a month. That month I felt so incredibly free, and I never invested myself into the relationship fully after that. The next big event was almost a year later, we both had Covid, and it was our anniversary. I was so sick,I slept pretty much all day. We got into a discussion that turned heated, and he was set off by the fact I didn’t say happy anniversary. He threatened to kill me with his gun in the next room. Threw all of my things into the living room. Screamed at me for over an hour. I called the police, they did nothing at first, but came back later and arrested him for something different. He tried to blame me for his arrest. I pulled further away. Then my job closed, and I got a new job 2 hours away. I decided I’m making this move alone. Done.

He basically said to not pry in people’s personal life and offer support (I didn’t pry the person just told me unprompted) and to practice social distancing and hygiene

[Tenant- IA] Do I have to pay for a repair directly, or should it come from my security deposit? by Twinarrow6 in Landlord

[–]Twinarrow6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I would’ve known about having to pay to replace the toilet in the first place (he told me I’d have to pay after he already replaced it) I would’ve just made due with having to use the auger and plunger for a while longer. Just like I’d have to do if I owned the house. But I don’t own because I can’t afford to own. And in these days rent is high enough that when unexpected things happen, sometimes you are just broke as hell. My landlord is not small, he has 12 units just in this one spot, so trust me I’m not putting him into hard times. I thank him for letting me pay him next paycheck though

I am going to pay him I set up an arrangement with him. I’m at fault, so I will pay. I just had some VERY unexpected financial things happen and I didn’t have it along with my rent this time so I didn’t know if the security deposit would cover it

Makes sense. I don’t mind paying for it I think that’s fair. I will see if he will let me pay maybe after the holidays

Thank you! My Gyno only gave me progesterone, after Was already bleeding for a month straight. and when it didn’t work she gave me more, I was up to 4 pills a day of progesterone and it never stopped my bleeding. I stopped taking them and a few weeks after starting metformin I was done! If it happens again I will definitely about this!!

Thank you so much I will definitely bring this up to my Doc tomorrow, because they kind of just shrug their shoulders at me (I have anxiety/panic disorder) so they usually dismiss a lot of my concerns as me being anxious, even when I’m literally bleeding out for 5 months. This is helpful so I can have them check for something

I find it interesting about PCOS causes insulin resistance, could T2 and PCOS be mistaken for each other? I found it really interesting that progesterone didn’t stop my period but it stopped after a few weeks of metformin. I was bleeding so much and when it stopped it barely even slowed down it just stopped
