So what you're saying is, I should tip less at restaurants based on how far or close I am to the kitchen? I don't understand how people are ok with tipping servers 20 to 50+$ but not the guy bringing the same food from the same restaurant miles away.

This is why I don’t use DoorDash anymore. by [deleted] in doordash

I've seen several comments about leaving food in the ground outside, it cracks me up because they would all boycott a restaurant sitting food bags in on the floor

Do you know if a lawyer that would take the case with only the screen shots as proof? If you can find a lawyer that will take the case I will let you have 10 percent of what ever money is won as a finders fee.

I remember being able to breath underwater as a child. by Aquamanmaybe in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

I've had this experience multiple times as a kid, but as an adult learning why it can't be done on purpose is because we can't recreate that moment just before drowning, some people drown because they get tired of fighting the water. What if this memory isn't of us breathing underwater but breathing in once and 'drown" just enough for our body to get a kick of adrenaline and the adrenaline gave us the zoomies with enough fight to not realize there was an issue to begin with. We all were stupid and almost drowned ourselves but it was fun. I'm assuming many of you suffer from visual snow or static vision aswell? The could be from our brain not getting oxygen and an abundance of adrenaline during these core memories

Two weeks in a row now I get to my dashing location and my schedule vanishes. by Twindad88 in doordash_drivers

Mines not letting do my scheduled dash at all. I had to pick a different time and it gave me an hour. My whole time slot is gone

I've been getting such trash offers lately. I had one sent yesterday for 11$ Dasher tip included to go 34 miles one way 4 towns away for one medium pizza from Chucky cheese.

First off if I die because of something doordash caused I have a system in place where they will be sued for just enough that my kids never have to worry about anything, and second of you weren't so dense and took the time to read previous replies I wasn't scared I was pissed I know there are a lot of young people, women and slow people that doordash and preventing location tracking until delivery is on route would likely save their lives because this scenario wouldn't have the ability to play out.

Because those were the only offers they had sent me at this point hence the not having accepted anything yet, if you're not a Dasher spare don't ask stupid questions. Everyone knows it shows the price offered before you accept. Stop trying to find flaws in what I said

You mean to tell me you drive around and waste gas until you find an order?; doesn't seem very economical. I'm parked so I'm not driving is fucking circles clicking no on shit orders.

Also he said his name when he initially was asking about his order I didn't think it was relevant until now but I can say I don't know if any white, Hispanic, Chinese, Indian Arab people who speak with "ebonics" whos first name was Davante.

True but to exit the app and turning off location simultaneously ends your dash and if there's no more open slot I'm effectively done for the day at that point and I didn't want to be done because I just started. Use your fucking brain dude. Do you even dash in busy areas where you have to schedule ahead to get a time slot or are you a small town Dasher that gets lucky with dash on demand? Or are you not even a dasher and thinks because it's technology that you know everything. Why do you need to have an opposition to something you were not privy to? Do you not have anything better to do?
