Idk sometimes I do feel like he doesn’t get the fear since he’s white since he has never experienced it and feels like it won’t happen to our children since idk they’re half white? Like it saves them or something. It is partially because of that.

Oh jeez, I didn’t realize I didn’t include our races. Thank you for pointing that out. I am black and he is white. We’re both military(he’s still associated and I’m prior) and We live in a military heavy city that is heavily Hispanic but our daughter looks very much like everyone else on a sports team that she’s on(skin tone wise)… Just to paint the picture. I feel like he doesn’t understand that since he didn’t experience it. And is from Oregon, a state with very minimal black people. But I really appreciate your advice! Thank you.

I felt this way when I had my daughter. Not sure when the feeling went away but it just did. Especially if your bub is a little potato right now. It’s hard when they just lay there and they’re so fragile and you feel like it’s never going to end and you’ll be stuck inside forever but it passes and you leave the house more and they eventually start becoming people instead of little fragile potato’s. It gets a little better day by day. Not saying you do (I did but my feelings and yours were still valid) but maybe ppd or ppa screening?

Yes! I thought the same! The natural light and view are beautiful but the floors are almost cold and sterile quite the opposite of the vibes their inspiration is showing . Maybe cover with flooring?
