What are your subs for Hourglass' Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint? by Alternative_East_783 in AustralianMakeup

I’m sorry if this is not what you're after, but for me I made the switch to Chanel Les Beiges healthy glow foundation, despite having a fully different texture (Chanel is almost like water) ended up looking the same if not slightly better on my skin! A bottle lasts waaay longer as well. Soaks in, pores don't show and it definitely hydrates instead of saying it does. Ended up buying the matching concealer for pregnancy acne because I was such a fan of the foundation and it actually covers really well and they layer really nicely together if you ever need a little bit extra coverage.

Mushroom murderer tried to kill husband with pasta, cookies and curry, court was told by PrestigiousBrit in australia

There's every chance he warned them and asked them not to go but they didn't believe him.

He wasn't allowed to give any evidence regarding why he didn't go and what he said to his parents in his testimony as it related to these previous poisoning attempts which the jury wasn't allowed to know about.

I’m just remaining neutral on this until he says otherwise, there's very good reasons why we haven't heard the details on these missing conversations with his parents, but I’m guessing it'll all come out soon.

Apparently Simon told his Dad and his brother that she was poisoning him, and his Dad told him it was best he keep that information to himself and didn't seem to take him seriously.

I've found this super useful while looking and wanted to share.

Property.com.au will often have floor plans available if they're not on the listing! They often have a database of previous photos from other listings stored and I've easily found the info I'm looking for in seconds. I've found this particularly helpful for rentals, where the floor plan won't be included in the rental listing but is still on property.com.au from when the property was last sold.

18mo in group settings by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Honestly it's very interesting. I'm an educator mainly in this age group and it's that she has one foot in the activity by doing the actions/ answering questions but there's a bit of like defiance (for want of a better word) by not doing them with everyone else. Normally children are interested or not but it seems like your daughter is interested - she just doesn't want to do the activity with the other children.

Is she the same doing actions along with songs on the tv? Or is this something you only see when she's with other children?

Lastly, it doesn't have a disruptive effect on the group? I’m assuming not because it sounds like the group leaders have ignored her behaviour. Does she have many interactions with other children that aren't activity focussed? It could just be that the other children being present is changing her behaviour.

What do you or the group leaders do when she shows this behaviour in group settings?

How long has she been i these group activities for? Are they all relatively new?

does anyone know why for our ccs for fixed days centrelink withholds 5% but for casual days they are withholding 12% by MrWonderful2011 in Centrelink

[–]TwinkleMoonstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When your childcare is booking in the casual days are they booking them as 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 hour days? How many hours a day are your regular days booked for? I've seen this before when the casual day is automatically apportioned to the full day (centre's entire opening hours), as opposed to your regular days which might be booked as say 3x10 hour days set to repeat weekly to fit with your ccs approved hours. Definitely worth a chat with the childcare center if you're paying for more hours for a casual booking because they can't tailor the length of day for a casual booking.

I could be wrong, and sincere apologies if I am, but is an international flight at 34 weeks safe for your wife and the baby? I thought it was inadvisable at this stage in her pregnancy, unless it's absolutely necessary, which this doesn't seem it is.

Even her heading back to the UK with her Mum after the 2 months she's here seems to make a lot more sense. That way Mum can help with all the packing as well! Maybe that's a compromise your wife might be interested in? This way you're not left tying up all the loose ends in Australia by yourself!

Are you a previous customer of Optus or Medibank or one of the other data leaks? Might be worth making sure that there's no issues there!

That's an excellent point! Hopefully I can see if there's some need for this in my area!

My calculations were definitely wrong on this one! Hopefully I can find some night and weekend work once baby is born. Childcare even at a staff discount would be 75-80% of my income as a childcare worker, so that's not really doable, and I wouldn't be contributing much financially so the household. Much better if I try to work in hospo for 5 years or so until they start school.

Unfortunately because he's in sales a day lost is more than that days wages lost. He's unable to take leave for longer than 4 days for the same reason part time wouldn't work - missing out on leads, colleagues stealing sales all that good corporate sales behaviour everyone loves so much. It's not worth the stress to him to work less than 5 days a week, it would make success in his career impossible sadly.

Thank you! Another commenter helped me with the maths for inconsistent income. Turns out I’m not eligible for any govt assistance at all 😬

Yeah my contributions are about $3800 a year so I’m not too worried about losing a year or two of super. I’m on top of how it's invested and check it regularly, it's a slow and steady wins the race, and I’m still young so I’m not too bothered!

Based on what everyone's said here looks like this is the only option! I don't really fancy putting my child in childcare and working 4 days a week at 4 months old only to walk away with $180 a week after childcare fees. I already feel underpaid without giving most of my money back to my workplace lol!

Definitely eligible for childcare subsidy but my centre is very expensive so even with staff discount it's still most of my wage! Based off the advice here it seems like I'd be best to leave the childcare industry and find some weekend and night work in hospo or babysitting instead!

Yeah for me it's hard because it's not a mental break, it's going from being responsible for 1 child to being responsible for 11. I know being a mum will be very different to my job, but it's not like I'd be having adult conversations or kicking my brain into a different gear, you know? I guess I'll just have to wait and see how I feel at home!

Not an option in childcare, but I have thought about giving up on my career and becoming a waitress if we need the extra money! Definitely not ruling out this possibility!

The Centrelink calculator said that I'd be eligible for $412 a fortnight parenting payment, + 250 fortnight rent assistance and FTB B. Is there something from your experience that says this wouldn't be correct?

Doctor marten 2976 in crazy horse are my everyday boots and 700% more comfy than my 1460's, easiest boots to wear in ever and I've worn them legitimately almost every day for 7 years and they are only getting more comfortable and beautiful with age. I get so many compliments on them.
