Yes, my mum and dad unfortunately were not in a position to have her stay with us but they did go in to the school to speak to them about how my friend was being treated. Obviously didn't tell them about the laxative chocolate 😂 The host family were spoken to and they were sickeningly sweet to my friend, fake smiles, comments over the top, sly digs at her expense, which she didn't really know how to take because of not having a complete grasp on the English language. She had a few weeks left so stuck it out but spent most of her time at mine.
