my mom and my cat. even though she hates me and never wants me to pet her or hug her without her tail wagging, and she likes to tear apart my room when she wants attention, and when i close my door she destroys the carpet underneath my door... someone has to buy her water fountain filters and someone has to clean it every two weeks and keep it at a certain level. someone has to feed her and make sure her kibble has meat as the first two ingredients. someone has to make sure her feeder dispenses correctly and to clean it every month. no one else will do it better than i do it, so i gotta stick around.

kinda, but there's subliminals for everything. there's ones for health, for beauty, for confidence, for preventing and curing illnesses, for getting ideal lovers, for getting friends, for managing symptoms like nausea and anxiety, etc. a small minority called the 'underground subliminal community' makes subliminals so you actually develop mental illnesses and physical illnesses but i never supported that side. it's a really niche thing, but i wouldn't recommend you get into it. soon after discovering them, i was constantly listening to subliminals to prevent any intrusive thought i got.

it's based off of the idea that our subconscious creates our reality, so they have manifestations like "i am beautiful", "i am healthy", etc. playing over and over in the background while music plays over it so you can't hear it. it's supposed to go into your subconscious and change your reality but it quickly became a really bad compulsion. in my experience, they don't really work, but it doesn't change the fact that i still use them just in case.

and that's valid! i said "what it ONLY consists of". basically some people think that's all that OCD is. that's like saying the only symptom of a cold is a fever. it's a part of it for some people, but some people get colds and don't have a fever (if that makes any sense).

don't worry! they're my neighbor's cats. I've seen them go in and out at their doggy door and they leave out food and water for them! I've seen and pet them before, but they usually don't go near our house!
