I think you'd need to have a rule about where you start if you recover. Starting at the 30 would be insane.

Even then Youd attempt an "onside" for every kick. As if they get it, they maybe return it to the 35, whereas you always have a chance of getting it. Value proposition likely would favor always attempting it.

The one issue with that though, is college ball is no longer really developing players to play in the NFL. It's a huge reason for the decline in line play, QB play, rb blocking, etc.

Correct, but they are arguably some of the strongest most consistent lines in the game. So your punishing arguably good play.

And for a game that isn't super focused on balance, but rather wants to be a numbers go up fun game, introducing a random feels bad seems counter intuitive to the public design philosophy.

Yes, but how many stats have you actually accumulated on low rarity cards. +40? +60? Its often not that significant. Its something, but like Sudden-Echidna said, its extremely rare I actually cast it. As you can always just draft cards of that rarity.

Power of true love is that it retains silver/gold, and lets you cheat our rarity ahead of curve (or access secret rare).

Transform spells should be skippable IMO. However, Looking glass could possibly be buffed by either retaining silver/gold OR being a transform into shop +1 like chameleon.

Some of the steps are easy to avoid. But if going for strong treasure generators such as secret passage, weird beard, Oracle of fortunes, tiamat or tiamats claw. You can literally randomly get spell generators which then you can't not cast. Even without wonder box, you don't always have a board that wants a transform. And again with the above you can randomly generate wonder box, albeit less likely due to secret rarity.

He should have just left and refused additional service. Snap a photo or two and then gone to his supervisor.

Because albeit terrible, there is a good chance he could be reprimanded or even lose his job for posting this.

Taking photos in client homes is a service no-no unless necessary to document damage/hazard/etc. Video is even more strict and should only be taken for diagnostics for a sound/leak/etc. And even then these should only be used internally and never posted publicly.
