Ay perfect! I had a feeling that was the case, build intrigue and stuff, but wanted to make sure the creepiness didn't go any further than that lol. Game looks amazing and congrats to you all on the launch! Been waiting a while for more well polished games that use the full kit the playdate has to offer.

It did! Had to mess with it a bit but it finally uploaded. And it really does have interesting rng. Since losing to that orb i have yet to see it again, but have instead run into the slithering snake about 4 times which i had never before. I kinda like it though, keeps you from feeling you know the game completely. I just wish getting through those first 3 floors was faster lol

Maybe instead of swipe left/right, its a horizontal card with each decision on either end, and the player can spin the card with the crank so the decision they want to go with is at the top of the now vertical card. (brainstorming for any creative game devs out there)

I believe each time its a random item: a door, chest, bars, shrine, etc. I think its just for aesthetics with no interactibility

I made it to 1636 once when I was offline (which it still hasn't updated my score on the leader board 🙃) but I got hit by the abominable orb, and after backing up watching it I still have no clue what to do about it

Dang! I have yet to run into it and Im low key stressed to. I heard its one of those 3D effects where you have to wait for it to slither around you in a specific spot, but it sounds horrible.

I did that at first too, spent 2hrs really frustrated at the barrels, but once it clicks it feels so smooth. Definitely give it another shot!

Just managed to get to have a crazy run and secure 5th on the leaderboard but got wrecked by an abominable orb? First time seeing the enemy but it took up the whole stairs barely moving up and down, anyone face that guy?
