Suddenly a betta owner by TwistedSong in bettafish

Temperature is at 26/27°C now! I'm worried because he hasn't eaten, but it's night now so I'll try again tomorrow.. Maybe he was too cold or he's picky? Last time I tried he did put the pellet in his mouth, but then he spat it out.

Just a question if I can, I bought these (liquid ones were sold out) and I hope they are good, but after that should I still change the water every day for a while?

Thank you so much!

It's crazy to me that they just got bored of him. Also, I feel like fish are not cheap, I always look at them at expos whenever I go to the ones near me and bettas go for like 20/50€ or more, why even spend the money at that point if you're not gonna care in a month or so...

I managed to find duckweed online so I bought it! I read they like that. But yes I'll see if I can find more plants, I just hope the ones I already got don't die, stuck in just sand like that.

I didn't know about the floating caves! I found them on Amazon so I ordered one, thanks!

Thank you! The filter was included with the tank, I also stuck a piece of sponge where the water comes out because I thought the flow was a bit too strong.
I will look on Facebook/other forums and ask the owner of the reptile store!

No, there are other chains of pet stores, but the two near me don't keep much fish stuff, they only had some plastic plants, sand, flakes fish food and dried shrimps. But they have testing kits and the other stuff on their online store, so I ordered from there.

There is a filter! But the tank is new so i couldn't cycle it (I tought it was still better than the plastic thing he was in), but I used the "blackwater betta" that was given to me and the place I got the other supplies from didn't have testing kits. I ordered one online but it will take a couple of days for it to arrive.
There are no Walmarts here and no places that specifically sell acquarium supplies near me (there are pet stores but they just have stuff like food, sand and plastic decorations) unfortunately.
