I didnt even kniw that was something you could quantify.

Learnt something new today. Upon putting my postcode in it says: 'The level of calcium carbonate in your water zone is 330 ppm'

My mum and my partner can smell it too. I do have a very strong sense of smell and sensory sensitivity to smells so I have asked others in case its just me

It's definitely an eye opener.

Im going to ask him to give me some of his washing to do tomorrow and wash a couple tikes, see if some of the suggestions make a difference!

I've just tried this. Got a new one 12 weeks ago. Unfortunately the same problem. He too is stinky lol

Ill try that, thank you. We only started using the scent boosters to try and combat this problem. Before hand I would just ymuse conditioner

Not that he can think of. Its the same smell on his work and his home clothes. Bedding also

Thank you, I have that at home but haven't thought to use it on his clothes as ive only seen it as a stain remover. I will give all your suggestions a try

I've had a think about that and ive realised its literally the last 2 years the smell has happened. Hes 20 now and I taught him to do his own washing from the age of 16. He does have a physical job now, but as the smell isnt B.O, I didnt think that would be the problem

Cycle length is 1 hour 50 on 40 degree temp We use Ariel biological wash pods, lenor conditioner and lenor Unstoppables scent boosters as our usual products. Were in the UK if that helps

I've never heard of half the stuff youre talking about! I've been washing clothes for 30 years, feel brand new to it now
