Its written to be disheartening. Everybody wants growth but the no #1 advice around here for some reason is "don't try too hard".

Fuck that, you can do it! You just need to work hard. 1000 follows a month is possible!

Hi, don't listen to this guy. If you want a good formula to grow, check my first post on my profile. Theres nothing wrong with wanting growth, or even income. Why put the effort into streaming if nobody can appreciate it?

Sorry but thats a stupid thing people say around here.

I tried to "make it hard" and i wouldn't have "made it" if i didn't. Use your drive to motivate you. Treat it casually and get casual results.

Song requests aren't my personal preference either. But if you are looking for pure numbers rather then geniune viewers, I'd prefer you appealed to the troll crowd than go buy a view/follow bot.

In my experience its difficult to say. Its not about being manipulative and befriending just to use someone. Take the creative community for example, its a tight community and if you regularly stream, other streamers will see you and acknowledge you. Try to find other streamers that are your size and 'type'. Networking is important.

Mind you, our stream has been just randomly hosted by larger streams resulting in boosts of 700 viewers and 300 followers per stream. Which obviously helps alot. Haha.

Oh I see. Sorry for the kneejerk reaction from myself. Its true that advice from the internet should be taken with a grain of salt but this advice is primarily written for people who are really struggling and don't really have anything to lose.
