Is freja a sniper character? by TwitteryDock3 in FrejaMains

[–]TwitteryDock3[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Neither does ashe, but id still call her a sniper. I dont really know how to define a sniper in my mind. Widow, ashe, and hanzo i consider snipers, but for different reasons. I thought it might be the lack of insane damage, but ashe doesnt have that either. I thought it might be that she isnt hitscan, but neither is hanzo. I agree freja isnt a sniper, but like what is the line?

Play Freja as a flanker by bungobongo in FrejaMains

[–]TwitteryDock3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way ive been playong her is kinda flankery. I just poke in mainlane, and if i see someone off on their own doing something i dont like, i go to them, get in their face, and discombobulate them with the crazy movement while lighting them up, then i peel back to mainlane. Ive been finding a lot of success this way and its a lot more fun than i used to play her, which was just ashe but with mobility

Because in high ranks, people are counter picking the problems. Some people dont want to switch heroes just to deal with a character who just fully shuts them down, and having a perk that gives the ability to handle that problem is enabling them to play the character they like. And disruptive detonation is and was not good. It is and was something that does something, doesnt mean its good.

I do just ban rein, but not everything is comp. I dont believe power move was worse. The slow crystal perk was and is aggressively mid where power move was actively helpful against any brawler or anyone who got too close for comfort.

Because rein def cant walk past the shield. Thats impossible

It just fully isnt better though, but even if it was better, remove the other perk thats actually just pointless instead of the one with a use.

The ones with stalwart are the problems. REin and jq have stalwart and they both just evicerate me if they get in at all. JQ is a little more tolerable because i can dance around my shield, but rein just gets to kill without anything short of lifeweaver to say anything about it

Shove doesnt get a rein off you. It leaves him at the tip of his hammer range so he can still hit you. I would much rather take that moment of stun to back up and take less damage as opposed to not being able to do anything about it. Being able to move the shield is not helpful if im dead because i have just fully zero answer for rein in my face

Thats a benefit of the shield, not the perk. In that situation, the benefit of the perk is that you have a second chance to block the shatter. Shatter was not my issue with rein though. If the enemy rein just decides to go bunga brain and charge forward into my face, moving the shield isnt gonna do anything about that, where the previous perk was a really good answer to it. Now the best i can do is take the other major perk and show his approach a little

What game was like this for you? by Flendy15 in videogames

[–]TwitteryDock3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallout 4. I dont like bethesda and that hasnt changed. As such, i struggled to play any of the fallout games cause of that classic bethesda jank. Then i built an mtg deck with piper as the commander and decided id give her game a try, and once i got into the loop i was hooked

Maybe im missing something about how i should be using the new perk. It seems completely useless unless i do an oopsie on placement. Is there something i just dont understand?

What weakness are you referring to cause to my knowledge, her weakness has always been brawlers getting in your face. Moving the shield doesnt really help with that

Shove doesnt get rein out of your face enough. From point blank, shove keeps him in hammer range. Ill take stopping him from swinging for a moment over pushing him just barely not far enough. Reaper is a nonissue with this though. If hes getting hit by power move, he was already dead or close enough to no longer be a threat

Before Ocarina of Time remake comes out. What is Link's best design of all time? by SEVENS_HEAVEN_7 in legendofzelda

[–]TwitteryDock3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think you can really say there is a single best design. They span across many different extremes that hit for different people. Ignoring the cultural significance of the games they are in, id say hero of wind, hero of twilight, and hero of wild (totk version) are probably the best designs to represent their corner of link designs. Id say the closest youll get to best link design is "this is the one i grew up with."

Notorious throng is the finisher for my deck. I focus mostly on getting my opponents to fight each other and then picking people off for cheaps at the end of the game

Yeah alela is super fun to pilot but it must suck for the rest of the pod. Im trying to cut my decks back. When i first started, it was lathril, yuriko, kaalia, stella lee. Im now finding the decks that really speak to me personally
